Frugal Frump to Fab - The Journey Continues

Hello all,
LL I am glad that OH is getting outside even if it is for a snooze, there is nothing nicer than the air on you as you nap outside. Hope he is comfortable and happy.
I have been doing poor fabbing as I'm back working nearly 7 days again so not starting till 2 pm on sat & today so have spent the morning napping and in bed to catch up on lost sleep as OH is working sat/sun too.
I will body scrub and moisturise in shower today and give body a body brush. Need to get back on the healthy eating too as just been eating rubbish- y-day and today. Not good as it doesn't increase the feel good factor when you feel sluggish.....
Flat is finally on the market now so hoping for a quick sale and a sigh of relief that it's gone!! ......
Need to try and fit in some exercise somewhere along the line as it helps my mood- which is sometimes low and always assisting in the feel good factor
Hope everyone is well.... And keeping up with the fabbing x0 -
Forgot to say I got a couple of nice tops in USC sale the other day one for £6 and two for £8.40. Which I was very pleased with. Suit me too so really happy with colours etc and have been nice additions to current styles.0

DH and I went out today to enjoy the sunshine at local gardens.

OK so lots of the other visitors were elderly but I did take the opportunity to do some people watching.;)
So there were loads of M&S classic people (i.e. ghastly crimplene trousers with elasticated waists and Cotton Traders shoes) and then hordes of overweight people bursting out of last year's summer clothes.
It really is worth fabbing yourself up!!:rotfl:0 -
Well I had a truly fabulous day
After a night of pampering I got up today and put on a favourite dress, did my hair and makeup and popped into town early. I bought my friend a lovely clutch bag as a gift (sharing the fabulousness) and then we had a very decadent high tea with a glass of something sparkly
Then we had a potter round the shops and I bought a couple of tops in a mint colour and a lovely smart black jacket so I am making steps into building my summer wardrobe :j
When I got home my lovely hubby had arranged for us to have a couple of hours child free so we popped out for a chat and chilled glass of wine which was wonderful!
Tomorrow I will be back on the healthy eating and exercise wagonTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Sounds great rummer so glad the fabbing's paying off. The jacket looks very smart and versatile too. I'm so glad you've had a good day all round.
Back on the wagon tomorrow for you and me both.;)0 -

Thanks for sharing, I was feeling quite envious of you as I love Wallis but then on further investigation I found they do free international delivery - wooh hoo!! :j
There's not much fabbing going on here beyond the daily skincare regime but still spending a lot of time looking at and thinking about clothes and different combos. I wore a dress today that I had worn loads during the summer; except today I made it a bit more winter friendly and wore it with thick black tights and a cardigan over the top I got so many compliments and everyone thought it was new. :rotfl:
Off to have a good rummage around in Wallis's - I may be gone some time!Mortgage
Start January 2017: $268,012
Latest balance $266,734
Reduction: $1,278.450 -

Oh no! I seem to have acquired a summer lurgy. Both boys were laid low last week - I think it's my turn.
Can't stop shivering and yet its lovely and warm outside.
I'm off to bed with a cup of tea and a heat pad.0 -

What a cruel comment.0 -

I'm sorry if I caused you offence. It is a public forum but as it's a thread with regular posters I used the wording as a form of shorthand. All I meant was that many of the people I saw were dressed in the type of clothes that I consider frumpy (hence the name of the thread).0
