LL No amount of time prepares you for hearing something like that. My thoughts as always are with you and your family. I hope the newly warm weather means that you and your hubby can enjoy time together outside over the coming weeks as I know it is something you both enjoy.

I have been keeping to the exercise regime and working on the healthy eating ;)

Thanks all for your kind thoughts.

I spent most of the day and evening with OH yesterday. I wanted to make sure he was ok and didn't have any kind of delayed reaction to the news - he was fine - his usual happy, sunny, charming self. We sat outside a lot and he "supervised" me whilst I pottered about watering my little nursery garden - all in pots ready for when I move. It was bittersweet - knowing full well that this time next year he won't be be here. I guess most of things we do from know on will have that edge of bittersweet melancholy.

Today - I was up with the larks supervising activity at DS2's house, and taking delivery of all our kitchen appliances and worktops. Whilst there I blitzed the bathroom (covered in dust despite me asking the plasters to keep the door closed ). I also tackled the out side loo (ugh!!!). Not sure whether or not to remove the loo and just have it as a tool shed or keep the extra loo. Even if it is outside it is always useful to have an extra loo - especially when gardening or working outside.

I am absolutely filthy so a bite to eat and then a nice long soak in the bath and a bit of serious slathering and pampering. My nails need sorting out.

And then spend a nice quiet evening with OH.

Tomorrow is pilates - I really enjoy it now. I've made some nice new friends and we all go for a coffee afterwards.

Fab weather here and fingers crossed the week-end looks set fair too.

Don't forget ladies, Fab Friday tomorrow. Get those glad rags on. :D

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you're all feeling fabulous? I had my hair cut last night, used OPI's nail envy on my nails and today am wearing my new shoes that arrived yesterday and am feeling good! Roll on the sunny weekend!

Amazing how much better it feels when the sun shines!

I've had my shower, blowdried my hair and put on a nice t top (actually a White Stuff one from CS). Will put on light make up in a bit so all set for fab Friday.

Another experiment: I've bough some Nivea firming body lotion. I read good reviews and hope it'll stop arms and thighs looking a bit saggy. Whatever happens it'll moisturise.:)

Had a great pilates session. Everyone tells me I'm looking good and asking if I've lost weight. I don't think I have but I definitely look leaner and more toned. My clothes fit better too.

Someone even asked me how tall I was. Perhaps I'm regaining a bit of height too. As you are probably aware age can make us shrink a little but apparently pilates can halt and sometimes even reverse the shrinking process.

    That would be nice;).

Had coffee with "the girls" then some shopping then took OH outside. He slept - still at least he was outside…….

Time for a nice healthy supper and then over to sit with OH for an hour or so and an early night.

Glorious weather here and hopefully looks like it should last a few days. :D

    Have a great weekend.

Hey everyone :) sorry been a bit MIA, been a bit up and down at home and generally busy.
    Lizzie belated happy birthday xx
LL really sorry to hear the news about OH, am thinking of you and the boys xxx

Just had an epsom salt bath. Joined a yoga class and went to my first one today. Now feeling a bit stiff  so thought a bath couldn't hurt. Really enjoyed it, definitely felt more focused doing it there than my efforts at home. Am hoping a weekly class will complement any practice I do but home. Does mean my Fridays are a bit of a rush and the poor dog missed her afternoon walk but needs must :o I'd rather do it in the day than in the evening.

Been a bit slack with the facial exercises and with the exfoliating of late but have kept up with the basic fabbing.

Hope you're enjoying your Friday night, off to go moisturise my cuticles......rock 'n' roll lifestyle here :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello fabbers :D

I have been keeping up with the exercise and the healthy eating has been mixed. All my meals are very healthy however there are a few "treats" each day which I need to ditch and replace with healthier things.

Tomorrow I am going for afternoon tea with a close friend so tonight I am having a major pampering session :D I will depilate, exfoliate and moisturise from head to toe. My hair will be dyed and I am going to give myself a manicure and pedicure. I have also planned my outfit for tomorrow and will be wearing one of my favourite dresses and a handmade shawl :D It will be lovely chatting and eating many tiny cakes! I will also have a wee peek in the shops for a smart/summery jacket.

Hope you are all feeling fabulous :j
