I just rang the 0113 number and got the points straight away. No problems! I have also picked up a leaflet from Tesco's stating you get 200 clubcard points with a health insurance quote freephone no 0800 707 6633. I rang this one too, I did have to go through with the whole quote so it took a bit longer and I am having a quote sent to my home address but in less than 10 minutes I have gained 700 points for very little effort!

I just called and told them my insurance is due for renewal in September and she said it had to be within 30 days but I could still receive the points if I filled in the online form. I asked her if it was easy to find and she said yes but I cannot find it??

I just got the 500 points; he asked me if I just wanted the points but my car insurance genuinely does run out in 4 days so went through it. The quote they gave was almost twice as much as what I was looking for.
There's no such form; it would be advertised on here if there was. I'm so impressed, these things don't usually work for me.

Same as everyone else, took 3 mins. Up for renewal outside of 30 days, just gave me the points anyway. No details about the car, just my clubcard number....thanks for the original post...great

I've just phoned up for a quote - I was really nervous as I don't even drive, but I was going to get a quote for our van that my OH drives, and I didn't have a clue what I was going to say.
I phoned the 0113 no., and got through to switchboard who straight away put me through to the right dept. I explained that I'd heard of an offer for clubcard points when I got a quote, and she asked me when my renewal was. I said November, which it is, and she said too far off, but she'd still give me the points!
Really simple and straightforward. I know lots of people have said that in their posts, but I always assume that I'll be the one who gets it wrong.

I have just spoken to Tesco and they were surprised that I actually wanted a quote! I was given a quote which was over £100 cheaper than my existing direct line renewal quote with the same legal cover, hire car availability and a lower excess than I currently have!
When I said I wanted to get more quotes I was offered a further 2,000 clubcard points if I accepted the quote there and then.
Having spoken to Direct line they do not price match and offered me the chance to cancel. So much for me having 2 policies with them for over 6 years each.0 -
My quote from Tesco was £250 more than Direct Line !
But 500 clubcard points gets me nearly half of a return ferry ticket to the Isle of Wight. A great result for 5 minutes work !0 -

Called just now, renewal in November first time the guy said no to points quote. Redailed through to another guy straightforward got the points with post code, name & clubcard number. :T0
