Worked for us too. I just said we hadnt had the renewal document just yet although we were expecting it and they said I'll put you through to have your points then you can ring back for a full quote when you have the details from your renewal document

Hi! Only just got the newsletter........ Phoned up and they are so swamped they simply ask do you REALLY want the quote or just the points........ No brainer question....!! Transferred to another operator who added the points... Two minutes, tops :-)

I just rang them and the lady said, may i ask who the registered owner of the car is.

I said i dont know i was thinking of buying it, i have the reg. She then said because they are so busy they are only quoting for cars that are registered to you and i can get a quote online. I said i was only doing it on phone so i got my 500 points and she just said i am lucky i got through to her and she will give me the points.

It seems everyone is as lucky as me and were all getting through to the same lady.. :rotfl:

Just phoned - snotty man in call centre. Went through all the questions. Said at the end still shopping around. Didnt want my clubcard number, said it was on record.

I did need a quote and said i called due to leaflet and the fact they're not on confused.com - so she said have the 500 points, but apply online as it'd be 15% cheaper - another handy money-saving tip there folks.

I just phoned,was advised to do quote online as 15% cheaper and if I entered cc number in personal details section I would get points,not sure if this will work or not.

Just phoned with cc number 2 and woman said do you just want points i said yes took a few details and said I should see them in 2 weeks:T :T :T
