thought this offer might get stopped soon so phoned at 2.50pm and was answered after 5 mins. Asked me for renewal date - 24 Aug. Very nice operator explained can't give quote as too far away but they have set up a system to give 500 points without the need for quote. Gave my details and deal done!

Rang up twice. First time the lady said she couldnt' hear me properly, and just hung up!

Second time got through to 'Dave', who was a top bloke. Said that as i'd already got a quote online that it would be cheaper than the phone quote, but he'd give me points anyways

Call took less than 2 Minutes, advised that quotes only valid for 30 days and as my Insurance ran out in Nov, they would just give me the points! Took My name & postcode & clubcard number and that was it done!!

Not happy.

Got quote yesterday (after waiting ages to get through). Was told they did not need my clubcard number and they would put points on.

No points have been added on my card. Rang agaion today and was told it can take upto SIX WEEKS to get the points added.

Is this right?

Soke to a lovely lady called Nicola who said she couldn't give a quote but points would be added.

Just got through on the 0113 number, 3 minute wait, very pleasant and apologetic young man said unfortunately because they were so busy they couldn't quote outside the 30 day limit (my renewal is in mid Sept) but he could give me the points. Thanks very much Martin.

thanks it worked. 500 points and didnt even need to get quote as renewal more than 30 days :j
