a M3 coupe, one of the fastest cars on the road
It really isn't!
Glad you're happy with your new purchase though0 -
I know exactly what im talking about. Not cliches. For example: tried putting 150quids worth of shopping in a x5 boot? Or 5 series(any shape)? Not too bad eh? X6? Not practical. Reveiws or other wise.:rotfl:
ps that honestjohn reveiw states its impractical in the second sentance on the reveiw. Thanks for backing my point with evidence other than ancidotal.
Is that all you can come with?? :rotfl:
All those stereotypes you were throwing around, and you've come back with "bootspace"????
And WRONG as usual - the x6 has a deeper better shaped boot and therefore more practical than an X5, and only loses 50 litres space to the X5 - X6 bootspace with rear seats up, 570 litres, rear seats down, 1450 litres.
The family favourite Ford Focus offers 316 litres and 1148 litres respectively.
Plus you dont buy an x6 for absolute practicality - if you did, you'd buy an X5 instead.
Actually, the AA compliment the X6 on its space - "Although a little smaller than the comparable X5, the X6 does not lose out in terms of space. All occupants have generous head and legroom, even with the front seats pushed back. The same can be said for the boot, which can offer an impressive 570 litres with the rear seats up. "

I'd say the O/P will have oodles more practicality over their previous m3 so again, not really an issue at all.
For the record, my X5 was totally fit for purpose - it held our two retrievers with ease, could handle the weekly shopping run no probs and could seat 7 if needs be0 -

We test drove a new 535d which was very nice but being only 29 I though it looked to much of a sensible 'old mans' business man looking car which isn't what we wanted.
Similar to me. I went from a 535d M Sport to an X5. Could face driving an estate car.0 -
Shocking how many people have chips on their shoulders on this thread.
That's no chip, I run a BMW (not a car, mind you) and know the stigma attached to them and their owners. I was merely pointing out an inaccuracy, your previous post gave it perspective which the OP didn't.0 -
Is that all you can....waffle and nonsense....

and i beilieve your x5 was fit for purpose and never said otherwise. Much more so than a x6....which is the point:D0 -
I never said anything about boot space. Quote me if i did. I refer to the shape and over hang of the rear bumper. Then the OP refered to it directly herself. You dont know your own business and dont read posts. Sadface.

I would say, that similar to my wife, the O/P might find it a bit of a stretch to reach in to the far back of the boot of the car, given the height of them in the first place, and the large size of the boot
I was merely pointing out that people pick a car thats fit for their purpose, and i would say, based on what the O/P has told us, they are more than happy that their new purchase is fit for theirs.0 -
Appology accepted.0

A reminder that this site isn't about buying a Ford Fiesta instead of a BMW X6. It's about getting a good deal on the X6, or the Fiesta. Not much point trying to convince anyone that you can go from A-B cheaper than you can in an X6!0
