Thank you :) was just the 3 yearly thing us poor women have to go through lol (can't believe it takes 2 weeks for results, I am a worrier about stuff like that, so need to switch my mind off about it somehow)

    Bids all finished and I sold 12 items (11 Cd's and 1 LP) for £439 yay :)

I had a few other things with watchers but no bids so I am going to relist them at slightly lower price as I have free listings for April xx

    Morning all,

I'm feeling very low :( there is a lot of uncertainty with mine and OH's wages his coming month, We are no longer contracted out (thanks to the government) so our NI conts are going up, we don't know how much in money terms that means that our wages are going down by :( I am praying that the increase in personal tax allowance will soften the blow a bit.

Also I am apparently going to get some form of pay rise in July (first time in 7 years) so that is something to look forward to, but don't know how much, I am hoping it's not lame. OH was promoted last year and has gone from being the top of his grade scale to the bottom of his new higher one, so I am hoping he is going to get a payrise and start moving up his payscale

All the unknown really gets to me as I can't plan as I don't know what the wages will be, so my budget for May is rough and I don't like it, I won't get my wage slip till a couple of days before the end of the month and sometimes OH's doesn't come till after payday grr.

We have some things on ebay that didn't sell last week, once again have watchers but no bids yet grr, they end tomorrow night.

It was DD's birthday on saturday gone, can't believe she is 3 already!!!!!

I hope everyone is having a good day xx

    Afternoon all.

    How is everyone doing.

We had BG come round today to give us a quote for a new boiler, we liked the price of their quote so are going ahead with getting the new boiler, I am not adding it to my total debt (cos it would make me cry lol) my logic is that I have the £40-£50 saving from not paying my mam anymore (which she did so we could get a new boiler) and the gas savings (we currently spend £100-£125 a month on gas alone) more than covers the monthly payment it. And thankfully we can also repay it all early, so once the debt is gone I will pay it off (we chose the longest payment option to keep the payments low so that it wouldn't effect our debt payments

Made another £225 on ebay yesterday :)

We were going to list more things on ebay today but we have to dismantle my wardrobe to make way for pipes for the new boiler and it's being fitted on the 26th so that is taking priority. Then we will list more on ebay (I have free listings for April)

I am <this> close to starting my cross stitch tonight lol, I hope I still have the feeling of starting it once the kids go to bed, I am also binge watching Game Of Thrones, I had only ever seen series one, so I downloaded series 2-5 from on demand, I am 6 episodes into series two and loving it xx

    Hi,

Another GoT fan here. Can't wait for it to come back!

I know what you mean about adding stuff to your debt total. Just added mine up today and it's scary! Sounds like the boiler will more than pay for itself though so money well spent!

We are up to/about to watch Season 3 episode 9, which when I tell everyone they go "omg the best episode ever" lol, prob won't get to watch it till tomorrow night tho, I am off visiting my mam in hospital soon as she has had a knee replacement.

Te@co sent OH an email offering him a second card at 0% for 40 months!!!! think we are going to go for it, the two that run out first don't run out till Nov but we aren't hitting our targets for them at the min, so I am thinking I am better off shifting them now, then we can concentrate on the ones due to end April 17

Made another £168 today woo hoo, sold 4 Hanson Tshirts and 1 CD :) xx

I'm so excited for Game of Thrones. It comes out over here on Mondays. I had a growth scan for the baby on Friday and was like "Fingers crossed I wouldn't have to be induced on Monday" (they were talking about it) cause that's the first episode! DH laughed at my priorities. Baby's fine! So unless he decides that Monday is his day I'm super excited for that first episode.

Eek, good luck for when baby decides to arrive :)

We watched "The Red Wedding" I am DEVASTATED!!!! We are up to Season 4 Episode 1 now.

We decided to go for the Te@co card and they gave us a nice limit of £4000 and OH's Halifax card which was empty already had £3000 limit on it and a offer of 0% for 2 years (the te@co is 40 months!)

So now after balance transfers it means the only big interest thing we have is our overdraft :)

We had two offers on our B/Cards, one was 6.9% for life, and the other was 9.9% till April 2017, so we've shifted the 9.9% bit off and are leaving the 6.9% as it is.

So we still have MBNA to pay off by November 2016, then once that is gone the next one doesn't run out till July 2017 which is good :)

New boiler is being fitted this week, can't wait for that :)

Haven't done any surveys for a while, I need to get back into it again.

Our totals are in for April and we have managed to pay another £521.83 (what a difference a month of not overpaying makes!) which brings our total paid off since Jan to £2486.36 which I am really happy with, we are on target for paying at least £7000 off by christmas xx

    Afternoon all,

I hope everyone has had a good day, chilled out day here, spent the morning updating my spreadsheets to include the new cards, and take away the overdraft etc

Did the meter readings, we've used less gas this week, but I don't think that's just down to the new boiler lol prob more cos the heating was off for two days while the fitted it, we've had snow all week, it's been crazy. I am loving the new heating though and the instant hot water

Decided to attempt to cross stitch today while the kids were awake, I've never done it around the kids before as I imagined them messing with my threads etc, but I put a film on and they chilled on the sofa with me while I stitched which was nice, got 328 stitches done (out of 380,000 lol)

Then we made home made pizzas and the kids put their toppings on their own pizzas

Going to continue game if thrones tonight, we are up to series 5 episode 6 now!

I've overpaid MBNA with £13 from the shopping.

I keep forgetting its bank holiday, yay for an extra day off work lol xx
