Just done one of the easiest survey's in the world lol, two questions was all it was for 50 points woo hoo lol

DS was super excited to go to school today as it is world book day and he has dressed up as Harry Potter :) he looks so cute bless him.

Had a letter from the school yesterday offering DD her nursery place from Sept 2016, it is only offering the 15 hours funding though and my county is one of the 8 that is supposed to be offering the 30 hours funding to working parents from Sept 16, so I rang the school this morning just to see if they aren't offering it there, and she said they haven't heard from county hall yet whether they are one of the school's doing it (I thought all of them would be tbh) but that if it does come in they would be in touch with all the parents.

So I need to fill the form in as you have to choose if you want morning's or afternoon's or 2.5 days at the start or the end of the week.

I hope you all have a good day xx

    Morning all

Argh what a horrid night, kids had me up five times last night! every two hours, no idea what the hell was going on last night, so I am like a zombie today! I was already tired as I had a rubbish night the night before.

It's raining urgh, I need to go to A@DA for a mother's day card and I am getting her a book that she wants if they have it.

Might go straight after the school run otherwise I may get home and get a severe case of can't be arsed lol

Managed one survey this morning so just got my next voucher

Have a good day all xx

Been to A@DA it lashed down with rain all the way to school and all the way to the shop :(

I'm shattered now, got my mam's mother's day present, and some cards from the kids as well.

I'm pleased I went though as now I can chill with DD till we get DS from school.

Need to order DS some wellies for his trip, and do some dishes etc, DS requested a pizza for tea so I picked him one up, DD wants tinned macaroni cheese, thank god for easy tea's lol xx

Survey's done, thanks to a 300 point one last night (never before have I had one that high in points) I have got £2.50 this morning and am 25 points away from another £2.50, so I will check later if another survey pops up.

    What's everyone's plans today?

I am taking DS to his swimming lesson today, I need to speak to the instructor about the badges the website said he now has as I asked at reception about it and they said to talk to the instructor (which is hard cos it's like drawing blood from a stone talking to him) so I will see what he says, I am really anal about stuff like this, plus my son was excited when he got his first badge, and I think they do need their badges so they can feel like they are doing well, and when the leisure centre changed us all to pay monthly all badges and certificates were to be free (whereas before you paid £5 for each one) so the MSE in me wants to make sure we get our money's worth lol

A@DA is coming after lunch (I just remembered at 11.30 last night I hadn't put milk on the shopping! so had to amend it with my phone lol)

Then OH said he wants the kids for a few hours in the kitchen to make me something for mother's day so I am being banished to the bedroom lol, I will either play my game or just chill on ipad with netflix

Have a good day all xx

Morning Honey, I'm loving your diary, you inspire me with your survey skills! Is it OpinionWorld you do with with? I signed up with them but seem toonly get ones which offer me prize draw entries rather than points?

I'm pretty anal about stuff too, especially to do with LO and certificates. I think if you are going to put a reward system in place you have to them adhere to it or else it means nothing to them. So i'd be right there with you in wanting to get my money's worth too.

We are off to town later, need a new battery for the bathroom scales and want to try and get some Kilner style jars, saw some similar in the local pound shop the other month so I'm going to try there first, if not then trying the local discount cookshop. LO wants to check out storytime at the Disney store so we'll pop there as well, and get some berries from the market.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your free time later x

Aww thank you :) and good morning (well afternoon for me now lol) I think I am just super lucky with the survey's, yes it's opinion world I do, just did another one for 75 points so have another £2.50, I've never made £5 in one day before lol

I didn't end up talking to the instructor as my friend's daughter has her lesson an hour before my son and she had already asked him and she said he looked really upset and said she would need to speak to the woman in charge of swimming (the one who I emailed) as he has been asking for next saturday off for over four weeks and she still hasn't told him if he can be off despite him emailing her loads (they don't seem to work the same days) so I felt super sorry for him as my friend said he looked like he might cry :( the boss is meant to be emailing me this week once she returns from leave so I will ask her.

I need new bathroom scales batteries too, saw some in £land today but wasn't 100% sure that they were the right ones?

What you after the jars for? I got some in £land to make jar salad in for work and they were fab, I loved those salads I really need to get back into eating them lol

I hope you have fun at the Disney store :)

I think my free time is going to involve me napping lol, I've had rubbish sleep the past three nights and can feel myself being short with OH and the kids lol so I think I should have an hour's kip or so xx

Yes, I managed to find some screw top 'kilner style' jars in poundworld. So I've filled one with dark, milk and white chocolate brazil nuts to give to my mum tomorrow and I bought a few for myself to store the nuts I buy from the scoop'n'save stall on the market.

Disney store was OK, plus the city I live in was celebrating International Womens Day with a mass of stalls and shows in the market place. So LO got her face painted, joined in with some dancing to Bhangra music, we signed petitions, got free sweets and had a lovely chat with a local artist who wants to start a vegan community group. All in all just my sort of thing. Also hit up the wholefood shop and stocked up on a few essentials.

They didn't have the batteries for my scales in the pound shop so I had to go in Tesco :( Oh well.

    Xx

Ah that's good I am pleased you managed to find some jars :) that sounds like an awesome present!!

Your day yesterday sounds totally amazing :) and a load of fun!!! Yay for fun days :)

    I still am battery-less lol

I ended up having a two hour nap yesterday, I was just so tired! I felt better for it but it meant I couldn't get to sleep till after 11 last night lol

Happy Mother's Day all :) I hope you are all having a good day :) I got a nice lie in this morning, and a nice cup of coffee in bed :)

Got a lovely card made by the kids, and they had made me a key ring, my mam got me a card and a colouring book and colouring pens

I had no surveys available today but that's fine lol cos I am not in the mood for them anyway :) and I have made £7.50 since thursday so shouldn't be greedy haha

I have done my meter readings, we are still running at a debit, I am hoping the weather warms up soon!

I have overpaid the MBNA card by £9.70 from the shopping that was delivered yesterday.

Oh and Shop and Scan emailed me yesterday asking if me and OH wanted to sign up to their food on the go app, which I have done, basically you record snacks and things that you have bought while out and about like a coffee at work or a subway or something, and you get points for it, which add to your normal shop and scan account.even if you don't buy anything that week and select the 'haven't bought anything' option you get 250 points (so 500 points as we have both signed up) so that will boost our shop and scan points :)

We aren't having sunday dinner as planned as I didn't fancy it, we are having roast chicken and home made chips instead.

I hope you are all having a good day xx
