Morning all,
What's everyone got planned today? Me and OH are work this week, not sure if we have any real plans yet? DS is at school, so I would feel bad if we did stuff without him
Does anyone here cross stitch? I love it but haven't done any for ages, I keep wanting to get back in but I'm tired by the time the kids go to bed.
Going to see if I can muster the energy to continue working on my latest one, it's this awesome Santa
It's a massive pattern, the biggest one I've ever attempted, and so detailed, it will take years to do (especially if I don't crack on and attempt it) xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I posted, kinda drifted away from it all for a while, everything is still being paid etc
fear not lol, I haven't done any survey's etc for a while.
Anyhoo, another month, another month to debt bust.
Now I am a massive Hanson fan, I have been for 19 years, and over the 19 years I have collected quite a lot of Hanson merchandise and CD's, rare Cd's, promo's and ones from different countries which are now worth a lot of money (believe it or not lol)
I made the decision last week to sell some of my rarer cd's as I don't use them anymore, they are just sitting on my Hanson shelf, OH didn't want me to as its the only thing I collect as such, but I just felt ready too, I am going to rip the audio off them before they sell so I will still have the music.
Well I spent yesterday listing some of them (42 listings all together) on ebay, and so far have bids of £287 on 8 items!!! I am in shock lol, there is 6 days to go, so we will see what happens at the end of it all
I have a poorly DD (loaded with cold and chesty cough) and I don't feel too good myself, so we are just having a chilled out day in the house today
Have a good day everyone xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Afternoon everyone,
I hope you have all had a good day.
The weather has been awful today, DS didn't have swimming lesson's today they are off for two weeks for the Easter Holidays
A@DA came this morning, so I have £9.80 to overpay to MBNA, which I will do in a min
I've made a huge batch of pizza sauce as we are having home made pizza for tea, and I plan on making Calzone's tomorrow for mine and OH work lunches on Monday and Tuesday.
I've been ripping the CD's today that I am selling so that I don't lose the tracks, ah it's bliss, I forgot how many remix gems I had in my collectionI am listening to them as I type, this is why they should still sell singles, so many good songs lost out as no more B-Sides/Remixes
I have bids on 10 things so far for the sum of £315, I have got watchers on 11 other items (and more than one watcher on the one's that already have bids on)
My plan with the money is driving lessons (depending on how much I make) everyone has told me not to let the money get spent on debt or household things, as this is my collection from 19 years and it would be a shame to see if go, for the money just to be "wasted" in the house, and I really do need to learn to drive, with OH's job now he was promoted last year requires him to work till 9 quite often and where I work it's impossible to get home from on public transport, we are lucky that so far everytime OH has had to stay late his dad has been able to pick me up from work.
Also I have booked BG to come and give us a quote for a new boiler, our current one is very old, and not efficient at all, we are spending £20-£25 a week on gas at the minute, so I know BG do pay monthly plans, so thought I would get them out to see how much it would cost us for a new heating system, and I figured our gas costs would go down by maybe £40 a month?
My mam bless her, she wanted to help us somehow but doesn't have lumps of money lying around (I wouldn't want her to pay for a boiler anyway). Well since DS was born in March 2010 I have been paying her £10 a week to look after him two days a week (and my DD too when she was born) it was basically to cover costs while they were out and about, cos she always takes them our to soft play or somewhere and buys their lunch out, well today she said to me she wants me to stop paying her the £10 a week and use the money towards the monthly boiler costso that will save us £40-£50 a month, so it's looking good, as it means that we will be shaving £80-£90 a month off the budget which will go towards the monthly payment for a new boiler, so won't effect our debt busting plans, when we get it put in I am not adding it to my total debt, cos I think it will just make me deflate.
Also OH has finally rang the tax office as his tax code has been wrong for two years (and the coming year) as they thought he got an allowance from work still for using his own car for work, which he doesn't. They fixed his tax code for the coming year, but were still saying we had an overpayment from a previous tax year due to this car allowance thing, so he has rang his employer who confirmed his car allowance ended on 1st Aug 2014 and that they are sending a form to the tax office in July about it, I think he is still gonna ring the Tax Office back to tell them this then we can get his tax code fixed earlier.
Sorry that was such an epic post lol xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

I like the cross stitch you're doing. I do a bit of cross stitch but am not very good at it. Also suffer from the too tired-ness after children have gone to bed, so my small attempts take forever. The current bookmark I'm doing hasn't seen the light of day for months! That Santa would take me forever!
You've given me inspiration to fish mine out and have another go at it!

Aww you are too kind, I am sure your cross stitching is good too
Not that much going on here at the minute, off work today, I am at the Drs at half 11, I didn't realise it was half term when I booked the appointment five weeks ago, so going to have to force my DD into her pushchair and will take the kindles for the kids to play with while we are in with the Dr, and then will just hope they keep quiet while I see the Dr
I am eagerly awaiting the end of my ebay things, they start ending at 7.30pm till 10.45pm tonight, so hoping for a bidding war lol
