I'm so angry with myself, I didn't realise the Tesco card didn't have a DD on it
so we missed the payment, have had a late fee and will no doubt lose the 0% interest on it
I am so so upset that that happened

Bless you! don't panic, phone them and be really apologetic. I've had to phone a couple of times before and they have refunded the charge each time. Good luck.

Aww thank you for reading my thread
Good luck on your journey, I am sure you will ace it!!!! Will you be doing a diary?
Thankfully it seems as though Tesco is sortedOH hadn't had a chance to ring yet but I checked the new online statement and they haven't charged us any interest, and it said in the minimum payment part that as long as minimum payment was paid on time there will be no interest next month, so looks as though they have let us off this once!!! massive relief!!!
What is everyone up to today? I am just doing some housework and my bills.
Only have 3 more payments to make on my washer then that's a extra £30 a month for debt, then in Jan the TC overpayment ends so that's another £20 woo hoo, I am due a pay rise in Sept which is about £20 a month so by end of Jan we will have £70 extra to pay off things a month which is great
Super proud of my son (6 years old) they were all making vehicles in school that an alien could travel around earth on, it was run by a company called primary engineering, and first I got a letter saying his was picked as one of the one's to represent the school in the final judging, so he went to the final judging 2 weeks ago and he won!!!!!!! so chuffed for him, then last week came home with a letter saying he had been picked on the school's team for the regional finals which are next week!!! He's a little bit nervous bless him.
Need to fill a ton of forms in for my daughter (3 years old) as she starts pre school in september, I should do it today really so I can drop them off when I pick my son up
I hope you all have a good day xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

I am so tired, I couldn't sleep last night, had stuff going round my head, one of my friends from school's daughter used to be in my son's swimming class, but she wasn't progressing so her mam got her one to one lessons which are £18 a lesson.
So I was re-jigging my budget in my head last night, cos I am pig sick of him not progressing, the teacher is rubbish! Son has been having lesson's nearly 2 years, I've spent £540 on lessons and so far he's gained one badge and hasn't moved up a class (non of the kids in his class have moved up, you would think they would have noticed that none of the kids were progressing!)
Private lessons are going to be £78 a month, I already pay £22.50 a month, so need to find £55.50 a month, so I am going to keep him at the leisure centre till after summer then in Sept I am due a payrise of £25 a month, and the washer will be paid off on October which is £30 a month, so I will use that money for private lessons. Even if it's just till he can swim a bit and has a few badges then I might move him back to the leisure centre, as the leisure centre does have an elite team, I just think the first instructor you get is utter rubbish!Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Morning all,
What is everyone's plans today?
I've finally forced myself to do some surveys this morning, I haven't done any for a couple of months, but with Christmas being less than six months away I thought I better get back to it lol
Got £2.50 this morning already, will have a look later see if there is anymore, think I will be due another £10 from shop and scan next week too.
Not much going on here today, just chilling really.
The swimming company got in touch yesterday they think there is space immediately on weekends for lessons for my son, but he is going to check tomorrow and ring me, he said if there isn't a space yet the waiting list will be very small, so I cancelled the leisure centre lessons yesterday.
I had been stewing over my decision as I wasn't sure it was the right one as I want the debt gone, but I think there needs to be a balance between paying the debt off and living life, and it really was a waste of money continuing with the leisure centre lessons as they just were not working out, and I do think swimming is something everyone should know how to do for safety reasons
I hope everyone has a good day xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)
