Good afternoon everyone, I hope everyone is ok.

Only had one survey this morning, which was ok cos I wasn't really in the mood for them lol

Went to A@DA today (OH is off work) as they have legs of lamb on offer and I wanted one (I've never cooked lamb before but going to have a bash doing it in the slow cooker)

Got 2 legs of lamb for £7.50 each (they were 2kg pieces) and then I noticed the whole salmon was reduced from £10 per kilo to £4 per kilo! So we picked one up and asked the fishmonger if he would bone it and fillet it for us and he did :) We've got 9 good sized fillets, and the head and offcuts sitting in the freezer all for the bargain price of £10, going to make fishcakes or something with the head and off cuts xx

    Morning all

How is everyone today? I feel tired for some reason but I don't know why

DS seems to have forgotten it's his birthday party tomorrow lol, we were walking to school and he said "I can't wait for tomorrow" and I said "Why?" (fully expecting him to mention his party) and he pipes up "Cos it's a day off from school" lol. I'm not going to remind him till after his swimming lesson in the morning, or he will just be hyper for his lesson lol

Just done some survey's and got myself another £2.50, my account is back up to £12.50 (after I spent £52.50 on the kids birthday presents)

Need to finish my A@DA shopping list then do the online order

We are currently toilet training DD, she decided herself on monday bless her she piped up "mammy I want to wear my knickers" she is doing SO well, I am amazed (it was a rough time with DS and took months and months, so I am very pleased with how it's going) no accidents at all yesterday nor today (so far) and we aren't having to prompt her to go, she is telling is she needs to go every 90-120 mins or so, so I shouldn't need to buy anymore pull up's/nappies wooooooo hooooo (except bedtime ones, which are only £4.50 for 48)

DS has requested home made pizza for tea, so I need to make some tomato paste, and then some pizza dough after lunch, gonna put the music on and do the dishes then make the tomato paste
I hope everyone has a good day xx

Thanks Lucielle, I agree lol, I hate potty training!! It's the one thing I wish I didn't have to do haha

Totally in shock, logged into my OW account this morning and they had credited me with 1400 points!!! I've no idea why! Its showing under survey history but it doesn't even say I finished the survey??? so I did two more 50 points survey's and have just got a £15 amazon voucher woo hoo

Taking DS to swimming in half an hour, then need to go buy his cake, he's totally forgotten it's his party today lol

Then going to his party at 3, I have A@DA coming inbetween

I hope everyone has a good day xx

Aww Lucille, bless you, that's my panic at the minute, I can't believe DS is nearly 6 nevermind 21, it all goes too fast!!!!

The party was awesome, there was 20 there altogether (inc three people who came and just didn't bother to RSVP (lol who does that) cost us £130, my mam bless her is going to give us some money towards it though (in the past when we've had tea parties at home she's paid for a bouncy castle so she wanted to pay for some of this)

DS was thoroughly spoilt, I am still blown away, he got sweets, four books, colouring books, a transformer, a spiderman garden toy, a Ben Sherman shirt, a lego dimensions ninjago fun pack and £55!!! We're currently waiting for Argos to open as he wants to buy the Ghostbusters level pack for lego dimensions with some of his money

I haven't looked at my survey's yet, but will do at some point today.

The weather is lush, so warm, way different to the other week when we had snow!

Just overpaid MBNA with £18.24 that was leftover from shopping which takes it under the £2000 woo hoo

Have a good day all xx

    Morning all,

I hope everyone is having a good day, just had a letter from OH's pension provider advising as the government is changing the State Pension (which I knew about, I work for them lol) his NI conts will be going up (which I didn't know about) so effectively we will both have a pay cut from April, I am not sure how much they are going up by in money terms, the paperwork OH has been sent says 1.4% increase, but I don't have any payslips handy to work that out, I think I only pay about £25 (as I am part time) so mine won't go up much, maybe the increase in the tax personal allowance will cover it though? I don't know?

Anyway, in OH's pension stuff, they are offering them the chance to switch to 50/50 for three years where he pays half into his pension scheme than he pays now (only builds up half the pension of course) then will be auto enrolled back into what he pays now, I am waiting for OH to check his payslip at work to see how much he pays in, as if he pays over £100 a month (so would be £50 if he changed) then I think it's worthwhile him doing that for 3 years, as it will help us pay our debt off quicker, and we will be in a much better financial position in three years for it to return to normal, I hope that makes sense lol xx

OH doesn't want to do the pension thing grr lol, fingers crossed our wages don't go down tons in April

My brother and wife and Nephew popped round this morning to give DS his birthday presents (he's chuffed he now has all the ninjago lego dimensions packs that have been released so far lol) and to drop Oh's off as it his birthday tomorrow

Then I took DS to his swimming lesson, he's off swimming for two weeks now

And then I had a nap cos I was shattered lol

And made OH/DS a birthday cake for tomorrow, I hope it's nice, it's been ages since I baked

Overpaid MBNA with £11.91 from shopping, and my totals are in for March and we have shaved another £607.07 off the debt whoop whoop I am pleased with that as March has been a really expensive month

Have a good evening all xx
