Interesting thread. I'm amazed you always sound so chilled. And manage to put time into increasing your income even though you have two tiny children to look after.
Ohhh trust me sometimes I am not so chilled lol
I am chilled about the debt etc now tho, as it's going down

I swear someone is trying to ruin my plans.
Car is making a god awful noise and the electrics are going funny, it did it a couple months ago but only the once and was fine, then when it passed the MOT assumed it was fine, but it's happened again a few times this week (always seems to be when it's really cold outside but OH doesn't think that is a cause)
Either way it's going to have to go in the garagepraying it's something cheap to fix, either way it's gonna have to go on a CC if it's more than a few hundred

Morning all.
How is everyone's morning?
Done my survey's for now, I am sure they have duped me lol thought my starting points was 75 and I did 3 surveys for 150 points, so it should be showing as 225 but it's showing as 175, strange, maybe my starting amount was only 25 lol, might see if I have anymore later, as I only need 1 or 2 more survey's for another £2.50
I am finding it insane/awesome that I've made £52.50 in 5 weeks (I started doing them on the 21st Jan) although £10 of it was from shop and scan, ohhh that reminds me I have a shop and scan survey to do, I will do that next, I'm not sure how many points it is for.
DS has swimming this morning, I am nervous about going as I don't know if I have got his instructor in trouble, at the start of 2016 they brought out a portal on the internet where you could log in and see your child's progress and any badges they have earned. DS has been having swimming lessons since September 2014. In that time in the first term he got his first duckling badge. And he has had no more since that time, I check the portal every week and it hasn't been updated ever. Also I've seen children move up classes (from the many many many weeks of watching DS, who couldn't 'swim' as well as DS is, for example last week the instructor got DS to do the back crawl legs and put his hands under his head and do it that way instead of holding a float under his head, NONE of the kids who have moved up months ago could do that? Also he has him doing the breaststroke legs, and NONE of the kids who have moved up had to even attempt that stroke?)
Anyway I emailed the swimming leader person, and politely said that I wasn't happy that the portal hasn't been updated, and that I felt DS had improved a massive amount, and can't understand why he hasn't moved up/obtained anymore badges since October 2014, and that as the portal isn't updated I don't know if his instructor and I are seeing the same things, and if we are not, I need to know what DS needs to do to move up? She replied, and I could tell she wasn't happy that the portal hadn't been updated (she apologized like five times in the same email) and she is going to speak to his instructor today, so I am nervous in case he is frosty with me, but at the end of the day I pay £22.50 a month for his lessons and some feedback would be nice?
Anyhoo sorry that was long.
After swimming DS has a soft play party, we are taking DD as well but will just pay her in and OH will get her some food from their cafe when DS is having his party food.
Then we need to take them to Clarks to get their feet measured, DS hasn't had new school shoes since April 15, so even if his feet haven't grown he needs new shoes cos they pretty much have no grip left on them lol and are starting to look tatty.
Then we have A@DA coming this afternoon

Do you not fancy having a try with Lidl or Aldi rather than Asda? I was in Asda for a couple of things yesterday and was shocked at the prices. Maybe I am getting too old. £1 for a packet of biscuits?! I can remember when a pound was a huge amount of money, back in the days when halfpennies still bought something at the sweet shop, lol.0

I used to do aldi but found I couldn't do my full shop there, and I don't drive so have to wait for OH to be with me, which then means I have OH and the kids whinging at me for stuff that we don't need lol.
Asda has worked out cheaper for us in the long run cos I do a weekly menu, then a shopping list off it and I do a online shop and only buy what's on my list, it's usually £50-£55 a week for the four of us, which I'm ok with for nowxx

Been to swimming, the instructor didn't even mention anything to me *sigh* but I checked the portal before I left and low and behold DS is now 78% through this level and has gained a badge. I'm waiting for an email from the woman in charge still but she said she's off for a week now, so it will be a while.
Soft play party was good, kids are shattered now.
Clark's was a let down, they had nothing in the kids sizes that we liked, so I'm gonna have to order them from online xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Morning all,
No survey's for me waa lol I need 75 more points for another voucher so I will check again after lunch
Did the meter readings this morning and thankfully we only spent £34 this week whereas we spent £52 last week, OH is off the week of the 7th and 21st so need to make sure he doesn't make the electric super high again lol
Overpaid MBNA with the leftover £9.13 from shopping, so have updated my signature on that.
Not doing any big overpayments this month until after my son's birthday party on the 12th as I don't know how much it will cost till I know how many kids actually come, so after his birthday party I should hopefully be able to overpay.
We have a lovely joint of topside beef from asda for sunday dinner, we usually have chicken as its less than £4, but I noticed the topside joints were reduced from £13.50 per kg to £7 per kg, it said online that it typically is 0.9kg so I ordered it knowing it would be about £7, well they brought it yesterday and it's bigger than 0.9kg and should have been more than £7 but they have only charged me £7 for some reason lol, it looks like such a nice joint

Alas no more surveys popped up today, never mind, I'm off work tommorrow so will see if there are any tommorrow.
Had a great day with the kids, just been at home but we've had some fun, including a crazy dance together in the kitchen which resulted in a flooded kitchen as I was filling the sink with water to do the dishes and forgot to turn the tap off, oops lol
Sunday dinner WAS SOOOOOO GOOD, God thst joint of beef was lush
Gonna chill with OH tonight and catch up on tv, and make nachos, we've recently discovered them and love them as a treat now, lovely salsa and gooey cheesexx

Ohh and I ordered the kids their shoes from clarks, well I got them from brantano and someone gave me a 30% code, mil was paying £80 for two pairs, so managed to get them for just over £50 and ordered DD some new canvas trainers from next, so in total still came to over £10 under the £80
