  • Hi

Have I lost Friday's list or is Friday a weekend this week?

As I only started today I don't want to stop before I've started.

If there is no list maybe I'll do Wednesday's.
  • Arrggh, just wrote a huge post that has just disappeared!
Hope everyone is ok as I haven't had time to catch up.
Yesterday we went shopping then 4 hours at the hospital with dd3 and today we spent 2 hours at the bank and the I made dd walk to the doctors for her cancer jab. She did make me catch the bus home though.
I haven't managed a lot from the lists at all and what bits I have managed the kids seem to have undone my work already.
Right going to try and get dd2 in bed again and make dh some dinner. Will try to catch up properly tomorrow x

  • But first job of the day will be trying to get tickets for Kate Bush tour. Not counted as money saving at all but definitely part of organising the day as tickets go on sale at 0930 - so I need to be logged in to appropriate websites promptly!

Have come home as it's planning but have nipped to tesco because I needed a 'special' bulb for the bathroom light - and wanted to fit it in daylight just-in-case.

£3.50 fo a bulb... and DD wonders why I don't keep one 'in stock'.

Also replaced outside lightbulb (again) *sigh*

My new kitchen one this week was £4.99 - they do last about 5 years but still.

    Bossy - Wow, you;re busy
    LW - wolfy hugs

Valli - I'm not doing nearly enough - sorry :[

Went to Lottie this morning, we've managed to not do anything on it since August when DH became really poorly - we told the relevant people and they let us keep it but I have managed to start again on there, we are going to be doing mostly fruit and a bit of salad stuff :]

Came home to find out that for various reasons that I can't discuss on here DH has decided to return to work on 8th April, he's now got 2 weeks to get fully fit - quite a task :[ Its not right that he's going back so soon but due to a Doctor being a complete KH he has no choice and factor in ESA's speed [2 weeks] to put a sick note on a system he has no choice so its power walking time here, at least the weather is going to be nice this weekend, swimming will be involved too I think - he's on his own with that one lol

Off to count up how many things I have made for the craft fair - still got a lot to do :[
Projects made for craft fair - 40 :)
    1st fair on 13/4/14 :j

    Hi

If there is no list maybe I'll do Wednesday's.

List is up now - it doesn't tend to be up until late in the evening the night before (especially on my weeks as I usually get DS3 to bed and everything done in the kitchen before I put the pc back on)

Quillion welcome home, I have that 'missing Toot's feeling' every week I link her welcome post

Helen I hope hubbie is going to be ok

So little flying done again but do have nice clean bed linen for tonight, heading up in a minute as having far too many late nights.

I have very sore, red, itchy eyes today, hoping it is hayfever.

  • Thanks Dustykitten

I hadn't realised - looking back on the previous weeks it's not obvious that the tasks are added daily. Now I know I shall try to chill out until the next day!

Helen jelly I'm currently on a phased return to work at reduced hours following a long time off sick. But prior to this I took some annual leave as I had accrued quite a bit - just wondering if this would be an option for your DH. It just gave me a bit of extra time. Just a thought.

My house is not getting any emptier!!

Middle room cleaned a bit more.. I filled a binbag with grot and got it all vacuumed, then did half the hallway and a quick vacuum of the back room that is visible.. I REALLY need to get flinging in there it is a storage room with a path through to the kitchen.. I won't get much done tomorrow though.. DS3 has hospital in the afternoon and I have nail apt in the morning then I need to drop letters in to doctors in 2 opposite directions from the house, I MAY!!! get Pixie registered with the GP too... yes she is almost 8 months old and I haven't got round to doing that yet! I need to pick up DD3's phone, hopefully it is repaired. I have bills to be paid too and I need DD3 to get a repeat letter from the drama club teacher..

I also need to ring DD3's and DS3's heads of year.. The high school DD4 isn't going to (to turn down her offered place).. get Squeak a dr's appointment for next week and change DS3's eye appointment from 8:30 on Monday morning.. they are idiots I am certain.. how many parents could possibly manage a hospital apt at 8:30am on a school day?!

So, I doubt much cleaning/tidying/flinging will get done tomorrow!!

Over the weekend I need to sort the girls drawers out.. DD3 was trying to pour herself into some VERY snug jeans earlier.. I need to filter through. I then need to sort what uniform she will need in September, I have binned a good half of the school trousers (though kept the good half :p) so she is running low!
