    Morning all.

Toying with the idea of getting an Mr A delivery pass again. The shop may only be up the road but I am terrible for forgetting things (even with a list :o ) and end up going back and spending money on stuff I don't need. :o Downside I'd have to up my grocery budget slightly as its currently £40 all in a week and delivery is a minimum spend of £40. Plus side I could limit the amount of crisps/biscuits I have in the house for DD's packed lunch though, and therefore save my waist line :o Oh well, I'll take the day to decide. ;)

Today DD is out at school, with multiple packs of tissues. She's full of cold (could the going to school with no coat even when it feels sub zero have anything to do with it? Or maybe coming home in the rain without her coat on or brolly up? Nah, not according to DD :wall: ) so I've said I'll have a go at making her favourite flavour soup, tomato, for tea with homemade bread on the condition she has it HOT and then goes to bed. I normally only make French onion soup for me (DD doesn't like it) so this will prove interesting :rotfl: Found a recipe using tinned ones online so thats me happy ;)

Rest of the plan for today is to do an hours work putting everything I left out last night away, and packaging up my returns for next week so I don't forget. I need to do accounts, check email, clean right through, sort Easter bags for ex to take to his nieces (he comes tomorrow but is seeing his family on Sunday) and when DD gets in I need to do the laundry. So lots to do as usual on a Friday. Going to whack some music on as soon as I'm done on the computer and get flying. ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Quick question, someone might know the answer. I make yoghurt and always have about 400ml of whey left over. Would it be good for the dog or bad for her? I'd hate to throw it away if it could be used - I've tried adding it to the bread (in the breadmaker) but it was *meh*. I know people used to feed it to pigs, and it's a protein, so what do Flypeeps think?

Making Twinks hobnobs for OH, as whinging about an empty biscuit tin has commenced.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm new to this thread and would like to join.

    Today...
    I don't work on Friday's so....
dd's school put on a Mother's Day breakfast and presentation so brekky for free along with bunch of daffodils for each mum.

Decided to clean the bathroom and toilet windows (can't remember the last time i gave them attention) scrubbed the surrounds with bleach. Whilst I did this I soaked the nets in some washing powder and they're now hanging outside to dry. Ewww, the water was black. Must wash them more often!

HB it's not the answer you want, I know, but it's my understanding that cow's milk products of any sort are not really very good for dogs, as their digestive systems aren't geared to cope with it.
ETA I just found this article:
    http://www.vetinfo.com/should-you-give-a-dog-milk.html
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Thanks for that Lamewolf. That's pretty much what I thought the answer would be, so I'm not disappointed. Mrs Dog sniffed and dipped her tongue in it this morning and wasn't at all enamoured of it, so I can now let it go without any regrets. I'm glad you've got so many dog guests at the moment and so regularly. Long may it last.

Paid stuff done and dusted (quite literally)
Face decluttered of this morning's makeup and a face pack liberally slathered
Kitchen tidied, all surfaces and hob disinfected
    Kitchen floor swept and mopped
LR tidied, obvious carp on the floor swept up with the dustpan and brush
Face pack washed off, face inspected in magnifying mirror, mental note made never to do that again :( moisturiser liberally slathered
Bathroom thoroughly scrubbed, mirrors and tiles buffed
    Bathroom floor swept and mopped
Ironing board set up and steam generator plugged in to heat up

    Just need to:
Get the boys stuff ready for the weekend
    HHI
Dust the coffee table in the lounge
Reapply makeup so as not to scare small children on the school run
Deliver boys to Wales for the weekend
Drink too much cider and watch the last two episodes of True Detective. It is SO GOOD.

ETA my new vacuum cleaner has been dispatched! Whoop! :D

Wow Fizz you are on a mission.

I've been to the garden centre, sat on the sun loungers and drank tea with a friend.

Put washing on the line, dusted bathroom

2 hours gardening in the front garden.

Having a snack then just need to sweep the path and get changed out of my gardening and think about dinner.
