    Morning all

Been up with DS1 in the night so I feel like death.

Have promised I will take DS2 shopping later (all the big shops are a 45 minute drive away) as he needs a few bits for cricket and doesnt want to wait until the Easter hols. Then I have to do a training session for work tomorrow.

Have only really managed the basics this week but the house isnt too bad, which kind of proves this flylady stuff works.

Will need to do better next week though!

Morning all. I have been up since 5 as I couldn't sleep but think I must have left my energy there. Been waiting for dd1 to get up to make us a cup of tea but just realised she has an Inset day so probably wont see her before lunch. My list today is starting off like this:eek:
    Monday - Master bedroom
    Level One
HH tidying/putting away and taking things out of the room which do not belong here
    Level Two
    Hoover the floors
Declutter the bedside table and give it a wipe
    Level Three
Sort through your winter clothes - any you did not wear or are past their best? Loose them.
    Wipe the window ledges
Clean the bedstead and see what has got lost behind it

    Tuesday - Kitchen
    Level Two

    Clear and wipe the sufaces
    Hoover and mop the floor
    Level Three
Polish any granite, stainless steel etc
Clean the filters and drawers on WM and DW and run through on a cleaning or descalling cycle

Wednesday - Bathrooms, Hall, Stairs and Landings
    Level One

Remove everything from the this area which should not be here and put it where it should be - bungalow brigade - hot spots!
    Level Two
    Clean toilets, sinks and baths/showers
    Wipe all dusty surfaces/paintwork
    Hoover and mop the floor

    Extras
HHMe time with a product or two from the bathroom
Replace any sponges, soap, toothbrushes etc which are not pleasant to use

Thursday - Living Room/Dining Room or other reception rooms
    Level One

    HH tidying/putting away
    Level Two
    Hoover the floors
    Hoover any sofas, cushions etc
Declutter table/coffee table and give it a wipe
    Level Three
    Delete some emails/favourites/deal with post
Wipe all the light switches and door handles downstairs
Dust up high, any cobwebs, on top of units etc
    Extras
Do a job from your own list

Yay it's Friday - Rooms of Doom or Catch Up day
    Level One

Finish anything outstanding from the last 4 days
    Level Two
Wow well done if you have completed the whole week
HH doing something productive in your Room of Doom, I know you don't want to but you'll feel better for it!
    S&S toilets and sinks
    Level Three
Change any bedding left to do
Another HH in that Room of Doom
Sow some seeds, spring is here

Wonder how much I can get done today, some bits were done (floors, worktops..) but you cant tell now so not crossing them off until they have been done again. Right, off to make myself a cup of tea before the little ones get up.

    I love my Sebo!

Thank you! I use a lot of different vacuum cleaners at various customers houses and most are dysons, but tbh I am often underwhelmed. One lady has a Sebo that I'd forgotten about and it's fantastic but rather large for our needs, we're in a flat so have limited storage space (our airing cupboard has to house the vac, all the towels, the water meter cupboard, the ironing board, two airers and the central heating boiler ), plus I always have to take my vac to work with me on Thursdays and car is teeny tiny :o AAAANYWAY, a quick google has turned up the Felix model which gets excellent reviews and should fit our needs very well. Compared to a mid level Dyson it was relatively cheap too, I've gone for the premium model with the turbo hand brush and the parquet floor tool so all bases and floor surfaces should be covered!

dancemum, I had a Henry myself before I moved and loved him on the downstairs hardwood floors and tiles but I found him a bit difficult on carpets, possibly because I didn't vacuum nearly enough :o This was in my pre-flying days, I would hasten to add.

Plan for today it to get cracking then do early banking and April shopping whilst have DH at home with car. he'll love it. Made banana loaf yesterday - a bit stodgy as too many bananas in it but will be good with custard for a pudd!!

Have a good day everyone. xx

PS I have a Gtech Airam - absolutely love it - so light ( and quick as no plugging in - but it doesn't have any tools.

Hello ladies. Sorry for my absence, there aren't enough hours on the day. I need a time turner like in Harry P0tter.

Kids to get to school, Tesco, work until 2. The engineer is coming to fix the oven at 12. Nobody will be in. Why is life so complicated?

I'll try to do some flying when I get back from work.

If I knew the answer to your question I could definitely afford to have someone to do my flying for me, Mumto5 ;)

JTTOU, I looked at the Airram but vetoed it for the lack of tools. It looks great though!

    Morning all

Started the day with 20 minutes ironing. Just going to load the WM and then have a shower and eat a couple of frogs.

  • ..... and is back

Computer has been temperamental for several weeks, hence lack of contact, but all seems to be well now.

Flying has been taking place, but more needs to be done, so here goes ...

    Hope to post back later.

Auntie Sceb - unfortunately he doesn't have any accrued hols as he used it up before he went off :[[ but thanks for the thought :]

Dusty - he'll have to be ok, we have no choice

Plans for today involve serious amounts of washin machine use, tumbe dryer use [its very foggy and damp here today] a bit of hoovering and then whatever DH wants to do which may involve a lot of walking - really can't be bothered with it all today :[
Projects made for craft fair - 40 :)
    1st fair on 13/4/14 :j
