    Evening!

Tea is done for the kids as they were starving apparently so it's very quiet here.
Did the Mr A shop this morning, loads in for the workers at the weekend. Also got Mother's Day gifts, a thank you gift, and a "I'm not leaving you out" gift for the other grandparent :D And, DD found herself some sandals that I approve of. She chose well, they are pretty but but not going to cripple her, and fairly sturdy.
This afternoon we lifted down our summer clothes boxes. DD tipped hers out and tried on everything lol, I got the big mirror down for her, she was twirling and posing and choosing her favourites :D she just needs some pumps and she's all set. Haven't looked in DS box yet but he had lots of new shorts and smart shirts last year that should still fit. He needs footwear for daytime. I'm pretty sorted too, but ditto flip flops for me.

We are forecast warm and dry this weekend - although poss not sunny. So I'm not going to bath the kids tonight. We'll spend the day out in the garden I think helping with painting and building. They can have a soak tomorrow night.

Tonight will be paperwork night. I've been putting it off all week!

    Basics done today.

Someone has let a BD in. DS2' behaviour has caught up with me. I will get over it. No phone call from his school today for a change so that is a start.

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE COME HELP ME SORT MY HOUSE???

I am pretty much at curl up and cry over the state of this place. The loo has taken me all week to descale and clean and make pretty.. I have another to do now... *wail*

The washing mountain is more like a mountain range and there is just so much stuff I can't bear it.

the 4 binbags of toys I sorted for charity shop are still clogging up my front room.. it is all pointless.

Oven man has been. It was the door switches. £93 ouch.

School quiz night tonight. My grey matter is very tired.

Going to do the kids packing for next Friday now. It will stop them wearing what they need for the hols and should limit my washing next week. Well that's the plan best I get started!

Mumto5 I've got school quiz (not at a school my kids go to or i govern at) tomorrow, I shall be the weakest link, oh well

    Dancemum sticks for the BD

DS2&3 a tad tetchy, end of week. DS3 has a sore eye now too and I so now how that feels.

DS3 already fed, will do dinner for DS2 and I now and finish wiping the kitchen sides whilst I'm out there.

Oh Pigpen - I feel your pain - I'd love to help but think you may be too far away? At least you have sorted the toys ready for charity shop. Do you have any cs that will collect? We have some locally that do and it is much easier than having to drag it all to them.

Have you tried Parazone limescale fizz tabs - I get from Home Bags. If limescale is bad you can put two in the toilet overnight and leave to soak and repeat as required - then it is easier to remove limescale next day. Or is that unsafe with your littlies?

Now sitting here with box of loo cleaners next to computer - oh dear!!!!:rotfl:

    Have good weekend everyone.

Had 2 lovely days with DGS3 who is now toddling around on his own and very cheeky with it :)

Great meal with friends last night - we met at a pub we found on the Internet and had excellent service and delicious food :)

Migraine started yesterday afternoon (I took the first tablets before the meal - luckily my migraines are mainly visual disturbance and excessive tiredness but no upset stomach) and today I have slept all afternoon :(

Still feeling yuck, but I will go and cook tea now as DH wants to go wargaming.
