Washing is drying on the line in beautiful sunshine and I have done a bit of kitchen flying.

Need to make card for mum for tomorrow and then maybe sort some paperwork.

That is brilliant news - we had to move away from ours!!!

Now have lovely neighbours one side and no-one the other! Hope your new ones will be as lovely as ours.

Lovely day here - DH jetwashing and I'm cleaning cupboards in the kitchen!!
Need to put the wm on but will have to wait until he's finished and had a shower. Has his wellies on but trousers (old) are over the top - bless!

I'm not a Kate Bush fan either I'm afraid, although I do a crackin' "kareoke" version of Babushka which has DS1 in fits every time

Done two wash loads at The Outlaws, I had to use the 15 min super quick wash for the second load as DH didn't want to wait around for an extra half an hour. Only the load was too big so (a) it didn't clean all that well and (2) it refused to spin as the load was too heavy for that program. Instead we had to put it through the spin dryer in batches, which took another half an hour. Lesson learned, do not take DH with me again.

Anyhow, these are now strewn around the airers and with all the windows and French doors open it's blowing nicely.

I'm drinking a cosmopolitan in a martini glass, delusions of grandeur much?!

Hoping your new neighbours are a much more pleasant bunch, piggers

I'm afraid I was always like "I could make that racket if someone paid me to".:rotfl:
But of course I've had hearing problems since I was very small, so maybe I always missed the finer nuances of her work?:think:

I have flowers and chocs for Mother's Day! Unfortunately they are for Mrs next-door-but-one :rotfl:

However I am a bit concerned AFAIK she has only one daughter (her son died a while back) and she has severe arthritis so I no longer ever see her out and about. But she's not in - there's no sign. I would have assumed her daughter who visits frequently would know if she were not at home...so I'm puzzled

Been to Lottie today with DH, he managed to do some digging :] :] :] Mind you, we both know now how unfit we've become - we're aching all over and he's got swimming to do tomorrow whilst I lounge around potting Strawberries lol, its Mothers Day so I get to stay home and not do the dreaded swimming pool - can't abide them!!

Flying - none done :]

Lovely day in the garden, joints commplaining like crazy but that's a price I'm willing to pay.

Going to get the washing in, do my ironing, cook dinner, get ready to go out by 6:30 - easy.

Lady's daughter's been for the flowers and chocs. She seemed surprised that there were flowers AND chocs - so maybe there's another sibling I didn't know about. I didn't pry.

DD decluttered to Morries. Must be idiot day - on the way there had to stop for two women pushing buggies who were crossing the road - but from the middle of another road (ie IN the road) then had to stop in the car park entrance while a dad crossed with his two kids - WITHOUT looking AT ALL. Looked busy - didn't go in.

Bathroom and kitchen are done, washing is dry.

puppy hosp sounds so much less scary and intimidating than breast cancer clinic :eek: although DS thinks I am a very kind lady as he is convinced I am going to look after sick dogs and then bring two dogs home when I get DD4 and DS from nursery later that day. (I actually have a friend who works for a greyhound and lurcher charity who visits periodically, so I think he put 2 and 2 together ) I have enough night terrors with DS as it is....but if a frank and honest discussion is needed once I know more, then I will have to find a creative way to put his mind at ease.
