overnight flying and some gentle pottering today has resulted in the following:
the last bag of Morribunds shopping has been evicted from the hallway correctly homed
the floordrobes in my BR, DS/DD2 old room and DD4 room have been cleared and taken to utility (DD3's room is a pit, and I haven't got the heart to go in there!)
washing baskets from ensuite and main bathroom emptied.
one basket of clean washing that I hid in DD4 wardrobe a few weeks ago has now been correctly hung in respective young Skints wardrobes
thought of Pigpen and the limescale loo, decided to work on my ensuite one .....it is not perfect, but now a whole lot better than it was....ensuite sink done too
main bathroom sink done, loo and bath quick s&s .....shower trap de-haired , but not in mood to clean the cubicle.
hoovered my BR, DS/DD2 old room and my ensuite, including using the crevice tool all round (but I didn't pull out the beds to hoover around and underneath)
had a quick crockery hunt all over the house..DW took the strain
had a toy rehoming session all over the house while DS and DD4 were asleep so pretty much everything is back where it belongs
cushions had a good bash and propped back on sofas at a jaunty angle
fling boogie in hallway, DR and LR including the mantle piece
made some cake pops with DS and took DS and DD4 .....took down far end of garden for a 10 minute picnic ( i only had two)
Right time to get some more soup on the go ready for DD2's return later this evening.
I might even find enough GUAG to drag hoover downstairs and drag it round before bedtimeThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Howdy doody!
I have a huge erection. Lol. In my garden. Apologies for the smut
The playhouse (which measures exactly as it said when I ordered it) is rather enormous. I didn't really consider the height of it, as I was so concerned with getting the width right . And it stands on the top patio a couple of feet higher than the rest of the garden. So is rather, ahem, visible.
Think I will pop round to both neighbours tomorrow and ask if they think it's too imposing. There is an apple tree kind of in front of it but I could perhaps add some screening. They might not be bothered, it is / will be very pretty.
So, kids have been outdoors all day (as have I) so I'm hopeful of a peaceful night. They are asleep already. Stepdad has been an absolute trooper today, we just haven't stopped other than for lunch (it was so nice today we ate outdoors!). I managed to get all the panels painted before putting together, and I've painted most of the trim too. So we have a floor, four walls, a mezzanine floor, windows and roof. We need to felt the roof, and fix the door, trims, shutters and window boxes. Oh and put the ladder together and the railing on the "upstairs".
Me and the kids are going "camping" out in it, in the summer, lol.Bossymoo

I haven't done any flying today except for cooking supper and clearing up.But I did lots of gardening, planted snowdrops in the green, set out plug plants and gave birds fat balls.
I had two lovely Mother's Day cards so I'm a ver happy bunny!0 -
DW done 1st load
3 binbags of rubbish filled and flinged!
Pixies clothes put away.. I sorted some for charity shop too .. these 3 barely wore clothes so they are all like new, some even have tags attached still but I guess someone will get some use from them. I have located a few more bibs, vests and sleepsuits which will be VERY handy.. must crack on with some knitting though as she has hardly any cardies which still fit.
Jacob brought me a balloon and a chocolate cupcake for mothers day. He wrote in the card all by himself .. very cute 'To Grandma Luf Jacob'
He also pushed Squeak so she has cut her mouth quite badly, her teeth went through her bottom lip so it is incredibly soreIt'll heal I suppose.

Enjoyable night with friends but saddend greatly by learning of the passing of a mum we all know from when our kids were at primary. So sad and her poor kids, youngest about to do GCSEs and she was a single parent. One of her closest friends was a mum who died last year. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Oh dusty so sad to hear of another young family devastated
Thought we had slept in but realised clock changed itself! Don't think my kids know it's Mother's Day but they did make cards in school.
I want to get a wash on this morning. But don't want to get up yet!
Hope you all have a lovely day. XBossymoo

Morning everyone - and happy Mothers Day. Awful news Dusty.
Bossy, that play house sounds amazing. Surely the neighbours wont object. We have just put up a second shed in our garden. OH bought it off the internet - I hadnt seen it. When it came it had been treated with some bright orange preservative - looks hideous and stands out like a beacon!! OH is colour blind so didnt realise and doesnt care and thankfully the neighbours arent bothered either!
Off to potter for a bit then get dressed and take the doggie out. I am a bit bothered about something at work and cant stop thinking about it. Wish I wasnt such a flippin worrier at times.
DS2 went off to a friends yesterday morning. I got a call at 7pm last night asking if he could stay and would I would drop him some things off - wont see him until 2pm this aft. Very quiet without him.
Have a good day everyone x0
