I find it so unbearable frustrating when people post, get advice and completely ignore it - or don't mention that they've taken the steps required.
I get that they can be stressed, but what is the point of offering advice if it is ignored?0 -

ive asked for the code but to no avail.I really dont want to contact him again.0 -
Tell him that no rent will be paid until you have the deposit ID and you have confirmed the veracity with TDS.
Did you put that in the letter? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I think your doing well, you have spoken to Shelter, keep the name of the lady handy. Keep them and us up to date. Maybe phone TDS and get their take on it. Pop the locks back when you leave.0

Thankyou i will. I now feel stupid as i wrote everything down apart from the ladies name . I will certainly be out but hes coming to do an inspection anyway and says he will enter regardless of locks ?? . i have contacted the council and i can have a liason officer come when there is one available but obviously not on sunday . im going to ring tomorrow to see if they can liase with him instead of me. I really cant see what he is trying to achieve . All i did was give him a months notice and told him to hang on to the bond if he hasnt deposited it instead of me paying the rent .There is absolutley no damage at all and if there was i would have told him.Do you think hes trying to get my rent to deposit or just because he really needs it then going to tell me tuff. i cant sue him for what he hasnt got .0

Regardless of locks?
So he will be 1. Going equipped and once his in do what? Nick stuff to the value of the rent? Sounds like catergory 1 burglary. 2 to 6 stretch.0 -
If you feel he is going to try for force entry, this came up in another thread. The advice was:-
Print out a note to slide under the door stating he can inspect when a council rep is present, should he arrive and start banging around. (saves getting into a slanging match)
Contact your local Neighbourhood Team to inform them there might be a breach of the peace.
Dial 999 if he attempts to break in.0 -

Have you written to him as advised? Asked him to stop texting and make all contact in writing? Because you've not said that you have.0
