  • Good on ya Lilty.

I had an email from Argos that if you spend at least 500 nectar points at Argos before Christmas you'll get 1000 points back. Thought I'd pop in and get a lightbulb or something useful. Then I can buy lots of crumpets and Alpro xx

  • One more sleep to go, one more sleep til Santa.... :)

Large box of maltesers almost polished off. Defo more calories than I burned off at fat busting exercise class. Back is sore but feels okay. Must book another chiropractor appt. Just figured that our DD is the only one working on Christmas eve in this house. How strange is that, where did those days go. 🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣

Decluttering has been very slow. But getting there. Xx

  • Well, I managed to get Christmas Eve off so now have 2 and a half weeks off. Yayyyy. Was very very sad to leave my lovely work colleagues. We went for a lovely lunch and had a drink after in the pub next door. I have had some fantastic pressies too. Colleagues in a million. :T:T

They said the door is always open, which is really a wonderful thing to say. I feel good about my new work though, so hopefully won't need to.

Looking forward to the next few weeks.

  • Two more sleeps to go!! ;) one more sleep until my almost favourite day of the year. Christmas Eve is fantastical. Full of traditions and cheer and bubbling excitement.

So lovely to hear you have had a nice send off. And join me on the sofa for those 2.5 weeks off ;) I've got 15 days left!! I plan on spending at least half of them in my jimjams!

P.S there be no alpro in this house! Only Mr S own brand exactly the same packaging and ingredients and nutrition list, but £0.55 cheaper per litre!! ;)

  • Lol, I was getting a bit mixed up there - he will be coming down the chimney tomorrow night :rotfl: and Its normally before I've been to sleep :rotfl: although one night I fell asleep but luckily woke up just in time. :rotfl:

Sofa sounds great :). I have essays and decluttering and fils to watch and basically hanging around in my pjs.

Thanks for the Alpro tip. I really love the Alpro tip. I will try it :)

Leek and potato soup on the hob for dinner tonight. So me on the sofa :) already.

supersaver - this is just wonderful. You've obviously left with grace and good humour, and the offer of an 'open door' is one heck of a 'plan b' (not that you're gonna need it :D - always the best type of plans to have :D)

You've hopped, skipped and jumped to the end of 2014 on a high, and guess what? There's that lovely, shiney new job waiting for you at the beginning of 2015.

    BRAVO! supersaver, bravo! :T:T

Hope you have a fantabulous Chrimbo with your DD, OH and everyone else that matters to you.
