  • YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j :T:T:T

Proud of you! Look at that motivation coming to fruition! You must be on cloud 9 (and nervous!!). I am sure you will knock 'em dead love. Congratulations! I actually jumped and clapped in bed. It is a good job I am home alone! LOL

Is it a job you really want, better paid, more/less hours? Hugs xx

Same rate, more hours, even closer to home and permanent. I've worked out it would be about £240 a month more. Not a fortune, but it would ease things and we could save again.

It's a job I have the skills to do, with a bit of a challenge to keep it interesting. But not so much that I'd be stressed. It would see me nicely through to the end of my degree.

I'm going to give it my best. :D

  • Well it sounds perfect. £240... What could one month's extra money do to your current circumstances? It would pay for DD's Xmas/Birthday in one go (most of it ;)) - Over the course of a year it is £2880 - imagine whomping that off the CC's.

Extra time at home, due to lack of travel. Less petrol. Less miles on your beautiful car. Less wear on the tyres etc. A bit of extra time in bed. Feeling less tired. Less stressed about your finances. Better health because of all of the above. Better sleeping...

:D sounds dreamlike. I hope you sleep so well tonight!

  • Can I suggest you spend 5 mins at the end of each working day noting down one thing that you did or encountered that typifies one competency required for the new post. It makes interview prep a lot easier.

  • Thank you Lilty and INOD.

I will definitely start making a note of things. I have all of the skills and experience, so I need to make sure I have plenty of things to say.

I think there will be some situational interviewing too - e.g. tell us about a time etc....
