Im 21 and have ran out on ideas as can't rely on my family etc...ok so i took out a loan with tsb £11000,over 5 years, and just looked its around 20% apr...i took out a loan to invest into a buisness and advertising, then to realise the company was a scam and as it was an international transfer, the bank said they cant do anything about getting the money back, the fraud team was useless after a few attempts, rang trading standards and they are trying their best but doesnt look like anything will come of it,working all hours just to get by,also giving up alot of things! After getting into this debt having to loan 5k of a freind and selling my car to get by and have some money to get another car on finance as other wise i couldnt get to where i need to work etc, really starting to worry! Any help? Thanks
  • Just posted on GPs thread, so thought I'd drop in here too. Big shop today (£62) but we have family for dinner tonight. Also bought £5 bag of spuds (25kg) and also 30 eggs - from farm shop for £8, so total shop so far is £70. Not bad really when a few years ago we would have spend over £100 on one measly meal when we had guests around. What nana's we were. (And the £62 included 2 nice shampoos and 2 conditioners, toothpaste, a fancy spa bubble bath and spray oil - all on offer, oh and the wine and beer for tonight - good shopping SS, says I :o).

Anyway, I felt fine after my flu jab yesterday but now am feeling a bit achey and hot - hope I'm not coming down with anything.

Right, got to get on and do the chores so we are presentable later.

Have a view bits of homework etc to do this weekend, so I probably won't be around much now until Monday morning, unless I finish everything earlier.

Have a great weekend everyone. :T:T:):):A:A

  • Oh my goodness, I had a really spendy Saturday, even bought more as had a trip out for more flour and bought a half bottle of wine for dinner. However guests turned up with more so the fridge is stocked for the month now.

I'm really pleased to see GPs fab food thread has given me mega inspiration and I think we will have a frugal but tasty October.

Feeling very inspired on the work front too. My course is going really well (it's only just started but I am hopeful that I will get a great qualification and learn useful stuff for work/promotion). I also have one application in and also found another bookkeeping job that I'm going to apply for, which was one plan (possible SE).

I'm also going to apply for partial funding today and also ask for some time off, and ask work about extra hours/promotion). Then the next step is my old boss.

I'm starting a 21 day cut down of food today as the scales have started to groan and my trouser button is under strain - I guess that's what happens when the stress starts to subside :rotfl:

Still one benefit is that the hagard look has gone :T. Hurray for that!

Right off to work in the pouring rain.

Have a great week everyone :(🌇🙋

    Hey you

GP has definitely inspired me recently. Between her, Lucky & Belle I am batch cooking with things I would never dream of cooking previously!

Glad the haggard look and the stress is (mostly) gone. I have been lumping the weight on recently too. Really need to control the overeating! It is work that kills me off.

Yay to job enthusiasm and opportunities. Who could fail to say no to helping you to better yourself and what you can do! :D

Lots of hugs, it is raining here too now. Definitely autumnal now.

    xx
