  • Does sound like it is the coffee setting you off :( fruit teas always smell amazing and then disappoint with the taste!

Worrying about the being thirsty, as is definitely a diabetes symptom. But, it has been super hot here for days now and Jelly has drunk buckets!

Hope you feel less hot and get a fabby nights sleep. Maybe you are waking hot in the night? Try cracking the window? Wearing less pj's etc? My friend always swore by getting out of bed, making the bed and then getting back in as if it were bedtime if she woke up and couldn't sleep. Her husband knows that if she is awake he has to get out of the bed and help her make it... :rotfl: some people be crazy!

    Night SS xx

  • I'm sorry you've been having a bad night SS. You're drinking what seems like an awful lot, have you seen the doctor about this?

(sorry if it's already been covered, I'm sleepy but think this might be my opportunity to speak to you guys for a couple of days)
  • Thanks guys.

I'm up again. It's definitely me getting hot and/or I have to use the little girls room. I will try window open etc. and I broke my rule last night and had a coffee at 6 during my lesson and then a squash. Very thirsty still, but hopefully it is the heat.

I have a checkup at docs on Zfriday but DD has just told me she needs a lift at same time :-(

Just going to make the bed, open the window and put my Archers ears in. Hopefully I'll get another hour 💤

    Good Morning SS!

So sorry you havent been sleeping, really hope you managed to get back to sleep..I always find reading my study text book always helps my brain shut down fast, naturally turns off, a silver lining of procrastination i guess, maybe thatll work for you too :) ..please try reschedule the doctors appointment, always good to have an MOT, maybe will sleep better for it too...Im amazed by all the decluttering, im so rereading your thread at the weekend to fire me up to do some myself, its like an obstacle course here...Hope dd's cold is better and your feeling better too, lemon barley works as a first quencher, maybe thatll help...Anyway just a quick checking to wish you a wonderful day ahead,,and a happy new month, itll be a good one :) xX

Guess what! I slept until after 5. Not sure of the exact time as I was having a very peculiar dream about selling my car, but it was way after 5!

I know that is still early, but I have been reading this which includes a pdf of daily practices for happiness, and says to get up at 5 am  so I can live with that. I'm still fighting the fear of the prospect of having no job so I am going to read my stop worrying book by Allen Carr in a minute, that always has a good effect too. Thanks for the tips y'all Lilty, Giblet, Shelbi and all.

Please PM me Zlilty (ooh mistype, but I like your new name).
    Hope your head better?

I'm off to the docs for my flu jab today. Very nervous, but I really don't want flu this year.

Be forewarned, it knocked me for 6 this year. Sometimes I get away with it but whilst my arm ached like mad, there was no puffiness or redness at the site of the jab. I felt like I had been hit by a bus the next morning though!!

And YAYYYYYYY for sleeping!!! :D I slept from minutes after I left here last night, 20 to 11? Until 6:52! :D head alllll better thank you!

    PM you now!
