Ah, Ali, glad to hear I'm not the only one - just wasn't meant to be. Frustrating, but DD now informs me that beanbags will be best. We've got one, so maybe we can make more :rotfl: in the craft room :rotfl:
Glad to hear it's sunshine all the way there, especially in your lovely garden

Thanks Parsniphead. He's even gone out in a mood this morning. I can understand things upsetting people, but I don't like it when people then swear and sulk as to me that's not about them feeling bad but about them making you feel bad. Okay, so we both feel bad now what has that achieved.
It's hard enough this life, we need support not competitive nastiness.
Bean bags, oh how I hate those beans if they escape. I tried topping mine up once and they all stuck to my hands ! :rotfl:Happy Friday everyone.

Had a lovely girls night out Friday (and sulky pants was suitably apologetic beforehand) :rotfl:
The news over the weekend has been awful, unbelievable, and has overshadowed all of us.
Instead of doing what we'd planned we were a bit more mellow, which has turned out to be a good thing. Haven't caught myself coming back around, if you know what I mean. Have appreciated some time together as a family.
I didn't get around to Kondoing my papers or clothes. Few things dropped off to CS. DH had a good wardrobe clear out. It is weird how when I clear things away, the other bits seem to spread out, almost breathing a sigh of relief. DH wore some shorts today that he had forgotten he had :rotfl: and replaced a couple of bits with things he really wanted/needed. We are at last in a place we can do that guilt-free. Both agreed we need to slash the food budget again though. Last year was £20-£25 a week, now it's creeping up to £100 a weekwhich is outrageous. We have plans to food budget when we get a minute. But I also need to look at my BT contract right now and other bits and pieces. Daligas still not send my bill.
Slow but sure is the order of the day, I'm so pleased with all the progress. Hope everyone had a great weekend.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Just done a sneaky signature update and my safety fund gets ever closer to the credit card balance :T. My aim is to match it and then beat it. Wel'll then be left with the car loan and business low interest loans, (so debt neutral) yayyyy :TOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Underestimated the spending already this month and dipped into savings by £200. I will need to be careful and wily to get that back again. Not quite sure what I've done but I think things like a new haircut hasn't helped.
We are also off to a party tonight and I'm so pleased with the outfit. £7.50 for a charity shop long dress that is just perfect. £22.50 for some Clarkes heels, brand new on eBay, they are quite high but look glam with my dress. Yesterday managed to pick up a contrasting clutch, that I will definitely use again as it's got the konmarie feeling - it was half price at £17.50 , but I love it. £2 for a shawl from the CS and £7 for some knickers to hold it all together and have done/doing my nails/eyebrows myself. So £56.50 all in. Not bad when some of the dresses I looked at to start with were well over £100 or £200
I have a wedding to go soon, so I'm going to start my next search of the CSs. Any ideas anyone for a late September wedding outfit? I guess it depends on the weather.
ps. Just looked at our Noodle reports and I am still 4/5, but MrSS is 5/5. Just shows, it's not based on how sensible you are with money, LOL. Still MrSS has been loads better lately, and I do means loads.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Got a bit out of sync with my posting :rotfl: what a fab night we had on Saturday. I really can't believe I felt so fab in my outfit that cost so little. Everyone (well almost) was in a great mood and it was a real mood booster, plus hardly any money spent as we got a lift there and back
After a restful Sunday I have been Kondoing the house today. I've done really well with clothes and books but am avoiding the paperwork I should be doing in favour of my toiletries. I've got a feeling I will be doing this all again in more detail, and in the right order, but I'm happy with that. I have 4 bags for the CS plus 1 for the rubbish, plus several empty drawers. Seems so simple an idea, can't think why I haven't done it before, it's incredible. One to ponder tonight I think.
Hope everyone having a great Monday. XxOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Have kondoed my clothes and the toiletries. So next I think it will be:
1. airing cupboard; 2. Ornaments; 3. Kitchen Units; 4. Paperwork 5. Photos
The shed also needs decluttering but I will be doing that gradually in between as most of the stuff is DHs and he needs to make the decisions.
i know this isn't necessarily the right order or the right way, but I feel very positive that this is a good start. The first 3 will be fairly easy but the last two will be a struggle. Probably why there's so much of the stuff. But I am looking forward to having it done. Just have to keep reminding myself what I've done with the clothes and toiletries, and of course the craft room which was where this all started:)

Your outfit sounded fab and great to hear how you good you felt in it too. :T
Daligas are sooo slow with the annual bill - after lots of chasing (daily phone calls in the end) I got it in June...when the year end was March. Keep chasingand check it's your bill when it arrives (mine wasn't ). Sorted eventually with a nice refund of £110
so I forgave them :rotfl:
Great to see the gap closing on debt and safety fund :TBack on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
Thanks Ali, it was a really lucky find picked out for me by DD. I gave another 'do' at the end of the month, so it will be very bargainous
I was starting to wonder about Dalligas, although I'm not due my annual bill quite yet. May be a week or two, so I'll read my meter again. I have a feeling that they bay owe me moneyso might be the reason for delay
:):)
