With regard to Direct Debits, does anyone know if you can have more than one nominated account with the Post Office savings accounts like you can with Tesco bank?0
-
Ironically, despite stating roughly 31 days for the compensation to show in my account, it was paid in today.0

No. Just the one nominated account.
Thanks for your answer, unfortunately not what I wanted to hear...
I asked because when logged into Post Office savings it gave two options..
Amend Nominated account and another option to add nominated account?
I wanted to try and add a nominated account but didn't want to screw up the account I have already nominated...:(0 -
They allow loads of account to be registered as nominated accounts but only one really is, and only that one can have a direct debit, and probably only just the one.
Also, watch outFor security, once you set up a new nominated account you will not be able to make transfers until 5 working days have passed.
What's wrong with two Tesco accounts?0 -
I wasn't sure if 2 DD from Tesco would be acceptable with Santander..
When I tried to set uo 2 from Tesco to Lloyds Club account, one from Online Saver and one from Instant saver, one was not accepted, no reason given just showed DD returned, so set up PO instead.0 -
Sometimes Tesco seem to get their knickers in a twist over two accounts.
Sir Bobby Robson account at Newcastle BS is good for DDs, and so is their BHS account. If you had both, they will only show as one DD one your current account. A bit like with the PO, you can only have one nominated account with a DD.

Just to let people know as there's been some discussion as to whether it will qualify, I got the 4% using two DD's from different Tesco savings accounts (both in my name)0

Me too.
And the same two accounts were used for the Lloyds Vantage when they needed two DDs and is still being used for Santander 123.
Very happy with the interest received today.0 -
