what sort of real problems does the 'claim culture' (whatever that may be) create? What exactly do you think is wrong with asking a company to delivery in accordance with their promises?
Higher insurance premiums in the insurance injury especially with the whiplash claims!
The costs will ultimately be passed to consumers...0 -

Just reading todays MSE about Lloyds A/c, DD's, and it says that personal accounts mostly cannot be used, for DD set ups?
That's at odds to what's on here, Tesco et.al, have to be in someones name?
Am I misreading it.
It's actually saying "you can't usually just pay these [DDs] to another of your bank accounts" [my emphasis], but as you say, there are some savings accounts that allow funding by DD. I think what they were getting at is that the monthly rotation of funds around multiple bank accounts has to be SOs rather than DDs.0 -

I think the billions spend in Bankers bonuses has a far greater impact on the cost to customers than a few thousand £20-£30's compensation claims for genuine pish poor customer service. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -

Apart from being potentially linked under the generic and vague soundbite term of 'claim culture', there really is no correlation at all between legitimately holding companies to account for service failures and fraudulently claiming for non-existent injuries!0 -
I had whiplash in a car accident, and didn't claim.if I had it would have been genuine.

Your ignorance is amusing. You're possibly the first person I've ever met that believes anything the Daily Mail post.0 -
im not sure if this was a dig at me, but i have not had a vantage account or any account with lloyds/tsb.. its a question worth asking and hopefully now we all know whether new or old when interest is paid on this account.
Thanks for asking that as I was about to ask the same thing!
Though I did have to scroll through all the rubbish posted by iAMaLONDONER et al. to actually find information relevant to this thread.
I wish they would just get a room! This is supposed to be a thread about Lloyds and not whiplash etc0
