Hi
Anyone else had issues with the paying in £1500 rule?
I paid in £1500 on 1st April and then made a number of further payments into the account. On Saturday I received a letter reminding me that I had not paid £1500 into the account and that I needed to do so to avoid the £5 fee.
Then yesterday the first page of online banking showed the same message.
Any ideas?

Not sure but I avoid start and end of month just in case of any problems with monthly cut-off timing.
Best to do the £1500 again to make sure.0 -

Considering that the interest is paid at the end of the first working day of the month, which in April was 1 April, I'd think that you'd have to pay in from the 2nd.0 -

..............As long as you pay £1,500 or more into your account each calendar month, we’ll waive the £5 Club Lloyds monthly fee.

I received a letter from them which was reminding me about the £1500 rule, but it said the reminder was because I hadn't paid in £1500 to my former Vantage account.
If you converted a Vantage ac to the new Club Lloyds (i.e. had previously paid in just the £1000), maybe that's why you got the letter too.0 -

I got this letter today and on checking my account discovered I opened it on 31st March and not 1st April as I'd thought so needed to pay some more money in to total £1500 for April. Glad Lloyds wrote or I'd have ended up paying the £5 fee.
I don't understand why you got the letter though if you paid in £1500 on the 1st April.0 -

I'd suggest reading the title of the thread and then retracing your steps just so you've got things in the right context

Wouldn't worry about it at all, seems a standard letter to me. I got one too, but already have paid in the £1500, though when mine was a normal Vantage account I only used to pay in the required £1K which is why I think they sent it to me.
Interest payment dates have no relevance to your minimum required payment as it's made VERY clear in the T&C's that's it's PCM.....not PCM after the date interest has been paid.0 -
Can you see pending payments going into your account with Lloyds such as salary, like you can with HSBC? I can only see the option for pending card transactions, not payments coming in.0
