I never chose a Club Lloyds Lifestyle Benefit because none of them is useful to me,/
Just an idea - if you really don't want/need any of the benefits, why not choose, for example, a magazine sub and leave the magazine into your local doctor's surgery/residential home/ elsewhere or even to a neighbour in need of 'treat', each month. Or, if the cinema tickets don't come with name printed on them, choose those and donate them to a deserving family you know.butterfly )i(0 -

good idea, or in instance of the cinema tickets, as said if no name, donate them to a local school, charity etc for them to raffle off as a prize for fundraising.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
One thing that gets me is why Lloyds display your full sort code and account number in an email to you. I know most people can't do that much with just this few pieces of info (other than setup DDs and the like), but I'd still like to keep them private if possible, plus I think I was given them at the end of the application as well, so had plenty of time to note them down.
I wonder how many people would be fooled if someone sniffed this information and then wrote you a spam email with your real name, sort code and account number. Would you believe it was from your own bank?
Do you ever use cheques or a debit card. You hand these items to complete strangers when using them so why be concerned about an e-mail?0 -

Just completed the online application form, got a message saying that they are processing my application, not to do anything now and not to apply for another current account.
As new customer, is this normal?0 -

As its a sunday and this late the credit reference agencies won't even be available to search. So I doubt they will be able to continue with the application until tomorrow or even Tuesday.0 -
Are you sure you were asked for a user id and password, as my user id was provided by Lloyds in writing and it's 9 digits long.
I asked here because I was not sure whether my situation was normal(i.e create own userid/password but cannot access anything online immediately) and am still not sure.0 -
Ok I have had another go and was still unable to login. I decided to re-register for online access and went through the same initial procedures again using the original user id I had used before. This was not flagged up as being in use so I proceeded all the way to getting an automated call to complete activation/verification. All has been successfully completed now and can see my account online. I guess I never did manage to actually register for online access when setting up my account after all.0
