The fee is waived for the first month if you apply part way through that month, so noone needs to rush.0

Anyone managed to open a Joint Club yet? As I can't see anywhere on the online application form an option for this.
Is it done over the phone, or do we have to open a Joint Classic account and then upgrade it to Club?
Bearing in mind we already have 10 Vantage accounts between us (oh the good old days when you could have more than 3)
I asked in the branch and was told the only way was to either 'convert' our current joint vantage account or both go into the branch and open a new joint club. Ideally wanted to run both side my side for a while for the interest so will be interested what anybody else manges to do. It is a hassle for both of us to go to the branch at the same time. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Lloyds appear to want so see both the joint applicants in person before you can have a joint account. Another 21st century achievement........
Still, a great excuse for us girls to drag our man into town on a Saturday for some shopping

Fund your account with £1500 a month otherwise a £5 monthly fee - its the last day of the month today so make sure you transfer some money in and then out again. This is for peeps who opened an account just yesterday and today.
On another note my two direct debits won't take be taken until May - therefore I won't earn any interest in April, so will just keep £1 in there until 1st May.
Tomorrow is the last day of the month for Lloyds though. Lloyds billing period runs from the 2nd working day of the month to the 1st working day of the following month.DEBT FREE!
Debt free by Xmas 2014: £3555.67/£4805.67 (73.99%)
Debt free by Xmas 2015: £1250/£1250 (100.00%)0 -
Switched one of my accounts form Vantage to Club on Sunday via phone.
Pleased to see it's changed over in the overnight update last night. Easily identifiable by a Club debit card picture differentiating it from other accounts. Also clicking on the account tab will confirm Lifestyle Benefits showing it's Club although to get into Club to choose/amend your chosen benefit requires a separate login/password so assume that wil arrive by post sometime soon.
Now to see if interest will be paid on the whole of last month at the new rate as I already had 2 active DDs on the account and squeezed in/out a quick £1500.0
