However I've just set up my account and tried to enter the sure and it's not accepting my password, despite copying and pasting from the email.

Anyone else having trouble logging it? Might take time to update since it seems to be an external company's website

    Mine's allowing me in fine.

Does anyone know what the Username is for the Clublloyds site on which you can manage the benefits, i.e. magazine subscriptions etc. Although I have upgraded our Classic account to Club I haven't received any information about how to log in to the ClubLloyds site.

    Thanks

Check your junk EMail file. That's where mine was

But the interest rate will fall to 1.5% in June/July (?)
So there is not anymore point to keep three classic account with vantage ??

    There is until then!

My point precisely! I want to max out the Vantage till July.

Regarding the posts above (thanks), no I hadn't cleared my cookies etc. but was already logged onto my internet banking ID so thought it would automatically know who I was.

Anyway they gave me compensation for hanging on the phone for 1/2 hour whilst they looked into it this afternoon. I have the new Club and Saver accounts set up just under a new internet banking ID. I'm assured they should be able to combine them when the back office reopens Monday.

As for the missus account already in progress I'll have to wait till CS reopens in the morning to try and unhinge that one.

Nothing is ever straight forward with Lloyds. They managed to screw up the last 4% vantage offers in branch last time by removing the flag on all of them!

Set up a DD to Santander eSaver account is a pain in the *ss. it will need to be done via paperwork as it can not be done via online or phone. Also AFAIK eSaver will only allow maximum of three DDs.

Someone has mentioned it that it will need to pay out each month (e.g. similar to Halifax). So if you did not pay anything via PayPal yo will not meet the requirement.

That's incorrect regarding Paypal. I have a stack of these set up to meet various DD requirements on different bank accounts, Santander, Halifax, etc. You're allowed to link a maximum of 8 current accounts to your Paypal account IIRC.

You use the DD you set up via Paypal to pull money from your bank account to your Paypal account. You can do this as often as you like. I just transfer £1 each month this way to meet the various accounts' requirements.

Log onto your Paypal account, click "Add Funds" along the top of the screen, then click "Paypal moves funds from your account" on the RHS of the screen and away you go.

    It is very easy.

For those who are opening this New Lloyds club as a new account not an upgrade of Classic A/C you already have.

Do you need to switch the account from another Bank ?
What about the new 2 DD requirement could it be set up later ?

    Thanks

Switching wasn't mentioned when mine were opened and I have yet to set up the DD's even though the Club accounts are up and running (albeit under a new internet banking profile - see above).

Besides which the new DD's have to be set up with the recipient bank or payee anyway before they get applied to your club account so have to be set up later.

No point switching another account, as there's no incentive for doing so.

If you're depositing money in the Club account and wanting interest paid on it, then you'll need to have the DD x 2 set up by the end of April.

I presume one from the Internet Saver and another from the Instant Access Savings would be OK?

I have done DD to Tesco internet saver.

I am not aware that you could set up DD to Tesco Instant Access Savings (?) Could people who know or have tried this shed a light please ??

It takes a mere 10 seconds to log into paypal and initiate the DD each month. Hardly an onerous task ;)

I am considering this account, but the 2 DDs are the stumbling block. I have looked at the link to accounts you can use DDs for.

I have Tesco Internet Saver I can use. Does anyone know if you can have more than one of those? I've read the site and the T&Cs and can't see it mentioned.

I also have a Santander e-Saver which I have never used. Is it really difficult to set up a DD on that? If so, what is involved? As far as I could see you need to contact them for a form to set up a linked account. Is there more to it than that?

I can't answer your exact question, but why not open one of their Instant Access Savings Accounts. DDs are very quick to set up on both those accounts.

I seem to remember they discouraged it, although the account conditions allowed it. It's very much paper oriented, rather than the much easier option of Tesco for both DDs.
