The T&C state that we need to pay £1500 into the account each calendar month. Well today is the 30th do I need to pay £1500 into the account before the end of this month (so today or tomorrow) and then do the same again from Tuesday. To avoid a £5 charge?
AlexIf you open your Club Lloyds account, or add the Club Lloyds benefits package to your account, part way through a billing period no Club Lloyds fee will be charged in relation to that monthly billing period.

I popped 1500 in today just to be on the safe side.
Hats off to anyone who manages to get 2xDD out today or tomorrow to qualify for the March interest. :T0 -
Just read the "provided you pay two different Direct Debits from your Club Lloyds current account each calendar month." again and thought what if the two Tesco DD's as well as different accounts, we make them different amounts. Say one for £1, the other £2. That is definitely two different DD's then ?0

I have just opened the new one, clearly states that interest will be paid only if two dd's that month. I Am wondering if it's worth paying the money in yet as I won't be asking the two co's that I am moving the dd to this account, until they have taken Aprils payment, therefore the first dd will not be claimed until early may (as the dd's are around 4-7 of the month. Unless they will still be paying the interest in the first month knowing will take people time to move dd's across.
Just remembered may not need to move these two over after all, as my tesco account and santander account are only servicing one halifax acc each, and both allow more than one account to claim payments via dd. have submitted the details for tesco online and done the form for santander to stick in the post, so may be ok after all!MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
Application went through as sweet as a nut except I now have two different internet banking USER ID's and log-ons even though I applied whilst logged on to my normal account ... argggghh.
It's being looked at.If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -
