New Lloyds Club current account
Comments
-
Converted my primary Classic Vantage to a Club Lloyds account today. No point opening a new one since I'd have to move my DDs over and I don't have enough to fill Club Lloyds, 3 Vantage accounts, and 2 TSB Plus accounts anyway, plus Vantage rates are being slashed in a few months anyway.
4% on £5000 plus 5% on £4000 is pretty cool. Might have to set up some pointless DDs to get a second Club Lloyds account later.0 -

OK, set up the Tesco DD and one from my Principality esaver, to my main Vantage account for £1 each and when they become active, will upgrade it to Club. But in the meantime my wife and I also want to apply for a joint account.
Anyone managed to open a Joint Club yet? As I can't see anywhere on the online application form an option for this.
Is it done over the phone, or do we have to open a Joint Classic account and then upgrade it to Club?
Bearing in mind we already have 10 Vantage accounts between us (oh the good old days when you could have more than 3)0 -
Just opened the Club current account as well as Club RS but when I log into Club current to set up the £400 SO to Club RS, it only shows my 4 existing Vantage accounts and not the Club RS as an option. Anyone else managed it instantly, or is it a case of waiting until tomorrow??0

Aren't these standing orders rather than DD? Does SO count here for the purpose of DD?Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -

no they are dd's, some savings accounts use the direct debit system to pull money into the account, see this thread for more info:

DON'T FORGET EVERYONE!
Fund your account with £1500 a month otherwise a £5 monthly fee - its the last day of the month today so make sure you transfer some money in and then out again. This is for peeps who opened an account just yesterday and today.
On another note my two direct debits won't take be taken until May - therefore I won't earn any interest in April, so will just keep £1 in there until 1st May.I would normally have a cup of tea0 -
