New Lloyds Club current account

Switched joint Vantage to a Club on-line yesterday morning, no problems. Wouldn't allow my individual 2nd Vantage switch though so popped to branch and staff did it for me.
Bit inconvenient having to shift 2 D/D's into the 2nd Club but THANKS VERY MUCH to all those on here who mentioned the Tesco Savings a/c. Just opened one so can bring back my gas/leccy D/D to my 1st Club which is where I'd rather have it. Now leaving 2 minor ones in the 2nd Club.
Grabbed the 4% monthly savings a/c as well, just got to think about a home for a 3rd Vantage before July! Can't stuff it in TSB Classics, already got 2.
Everyone's comments/suggestions have been very helpful, still acclimatising to 'virtual' dosh bouncing around like Tigger to meet all the paying in criteria.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
See post #195. Mine's still not listed two days after opening it.Just opened the Club current account as well as Club RS but when I log into Club current to set up the £400 SO to Club RS, it only shows my 4 existing Vantage accounts and not the Club RS as an option. Anyone else managed it instantly, or is it a case of waiting until tomorrow??0 -

and if you see post #196 you'll see why, and my £400 arrived today:

Success.
I rang up late last night and the girl set it up for me over the phone to go out from Club current to Club RS and today I can see the payment has gone through as a SO, so maybe try ringing them to do it manually.0 -
That is always an option but you can do it yourself by selecting "Company or person" and entering the sortcode and account number yourself.
Internet banking said it was a known issue and they were working on it and the above solution was the current workaround. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -
Is wondering why people are rushing to set up and deposit into Club RS accounts ?
Opening and depositing into the RS around 23-25th April and then depositing another on the 1st May is the most advantageous way to to it to maximise interest gain. OK, we're not talking huge amounts, but as return is the priority everything helps.0 -
They probably don't know what they are talking about. This problem has existed for months. IInternet banking said it was a known issue and they were working on it and the above solution was the current workaround.
Can't follow you, sorry. How does not having £400 in the account until 23rd April-ish pay me more interest than if I had the £400 in the account all of April? The 12 months clock starts ticking on the day of account opening. Depositing between now and the 25th of April counts as a monthly deposit for April.Wheres_My_Cashback wrote: »Is wondering why people are rushing to set up and deposit into Club RS accounts ?

I noticed that in the T&Cs. I deposited yesterday and made the second payment went in today and, in order to deposit every month as per the T&Cs, I will have to make 13 deposits in total0 -

Don't payments made today count as last month considering the Lloyds period is 2nd of one month to the first of the next?
Personally I deposit after I received my interest to make sure it's counted in the appropriate period.0
