My PAC code came through this afternoon via email, now I've just got to wait for my sainsburys mobile sim to arrive. I wanted to use giffgaff but there is no 02 reception here

Can anyone help with any advice? i joined ovivo on the 19th march and requested a port of my old tesco number on the 19th march. they sent me an email saying the port would happen on the 20th (lol). I dont think my port is going ahead, however tesco mobile cant help as they said the files have gone off and they cant stop it and the number has already been transferred to Vodafone(ovivo). I had a PAC code from tesco mobile, can i use this code with another provider? Would Ovivo had completed my port or part completed (in limbo) and i still have to request a new PAC code from them? even though they closed the eve of 19th and my port was supposed to happen today (20th). I just desperately want my number back.

Others have claimed similar things here why risk it? PAC codes are coming through fill in form get the one they send you.

It seems some people that requested late last night got their PAC this morning and throughout the day. Sm1 requested 10.30am and has theirs. i requested about that time but dont have mine yet.

Probably not. Mine's different. although I have been given the same PAC for two different numbers.

Give it a go. What's the worst that could happen? You loose three days of transfer window.

Should let everyone know, make sure you fill the PAC request form very accurately, I wasn't sure if I entered my correct DOB and tried to resubmit the form. An error message popped up saying I can only request a PAC once. Do if you enter the wrong email it's going to be very difficult to get another resent to correct mailbox.

Ps why didn't they just text everyone a PAC code automatically?
