Well had one of those days where you sit looking at the Debt Spreadsheet thinking will I ever pay this lot off.

Come a good way since Feb but it has become hard. Went out for a drink with friends and really had a fab time. I miss going out but in reality, that money is now paying down some debts.

I often read a few Diary entries of people to see how they are getting on and that really helps.

I hope you are all enjoying the Summer.

  • Hi Gunwharf you are doing fantastically and your diary was one of 3 that actually pushed me to make a change and tackle my own debt head on !!

I was a lurker had no account just checked by to read others success stories whilst getting myself deeper in until I realised I could hopefully be one of those stories myself.

I cant wait till you reach zero debt keep going and thanks for the inspiration :)

Hope everybody is having a good week.

I was reading through some Diaries today and one post really got me thinking. This person was moaning that they were in debt but further down their post it read " Spent £100 on Friday going out drinking but paid £1 off my credit card- every little bit helps".

Now I do not want to put this person down but if you follow that attitude you will not get anywhere. In fact, you may end up bankrupt.

I have been living on £5 a day, no holidays and very ,very little going out. That is how I am paying back my debt.

Some very good posts on here but sometimes you have to filter some through.

Have a good Tuesday evening all.......

  • How lovely, looks like a happy seal. Where I used to live there were friendly and bold seals in the harbour, they'd race to the slipway when they saw people in hope of a snack - they are just like Labradors that live in the water - feed them and they'll be your best friend :)
