This week seems to be one of those where money is spent. A few things broke and I seem to be eating more for some reasons.

Reading on here I think we all have those days where we think " where the money go"!

A stroll around the shops today and plenty of Christmas items round. Comes around so quick but this year at least I wont be up to my eyeballs in debt, just up to my waist which is a great improvement!

But small Progress IS Progress so it is all good. Looking back over the past months this Diary and words from you all, have really made a difference. Looking back I don't know where all the debt came from. I guess £100 here, another £100 there and it added up over the past 7 or so years.

Have a good Thursday evening people........The Captain

Somebody has asked me what % my Credit cards are on?
They are all on 0 % deals as a Balance transfered the lot! When I first started this Campaign at the start of the year I moved all the Credit Cards to the 0% deals. I was lucky to get them all done but I applied for all of them on the same day and all came through.

This has been a Godsend for me as reading on the Boards some people have some huge APR's which are are a real menace. You take two steps forward and one back when trying to pay those off.

Hoping to Shut Credit Card 2 down in a week.....no long to go:rotfl:

    Happy September all

As we started our Little Fishing Boat up today we had a " bang" ,"blue smoke" and a small " oil slick" !

Now for many weeks I have read posts on here about having an "Emergency Fund". I must admit I had discounted this and what a mistake. This is something I will learn from!

Thankfully we have a nice stream of Revenue coming in next week so this is taken care of but will certainly reduce the amount I pay off in September.

So another lesson I learn on this Debt mission malarky. I hope your all having a better Monday than me as we kick off September!
