  • Well done for resisting!

The last few times all my friends have been on nights out I have made up an excuse as to why I can't drink and been the designated driver instead- ends up being a free night as everyone buys me soft drinks to say thanks for the lift and I don't miss out on the opportunity to socialise with my mates, win win! :)

    Evening from the Shoreline.

I got thinking today....prior to my LBM, I would just buy whatever I felt like on the food shop-never looking at the prices.
Fill the trolley to the brim and hand over a Credit card. I am now checking all prices and purchase accordingly. I seem (and hope) to be making some life changes to the way I view money. This is a great thing for me as I hope to never end up in the same situation as the start of this year.

    Have a good Evening all.

  • As the clock strikes 12............

    ........the direct debits go!

Yes it is that time of the Month that everybody up and down the Country, see vast amounts of money transfer out of their accounts by Direct Debit - me too.

We take it for granted these days and makes money easier to sort although does not make each easier to find!

    Motivation and emergency fund

You should watch what the Squirrels do and learn from them. Squirrels have no ruler, no boss, and no leader . But in the summer, they gather all of their food and save it. So when winter comes, there is plenty to eat..........just like an emergency fund.

Have a good Saturday all from the South Coast.
