  • Really good. The next cc will soon disappear due to not needing to make payments on cc1. I think your Christmas deadline is doable.

I have paid lots of debt off recently. I had become too complacent about debt over the past few years or so, making piddly monthly payments on a high-interest credit cards while going out and buying more luxury products ensuring my debt is never cleared.

To combat this tendency, I now look at it as a huge emergency, like running around with my hair on fire. Or like standing in an enormous cloud of killer bees, which are stinging every square inch of my body. Occasionally I’ll even have to pull out the old “cauldron full of boiling lava and poisonous snakes” metaphor to properly convey the urgency.

After thinking of these scary scenes,I have developed the appropriate aversion and ability to not spending on a credit card, instead of waiting until I have cash to afford something, while paying down my debt.

It is hard as hell but I am getting there.........

Credit card 1 has now been officially cancelled and received notification in the post. Great feeling, now to deal with the others over the coming months. :T

    Ahoy Captain

Well, what fantastic weather we have had. I am resisting spending money and my budget is on track for end of month and into next.

Looking at smashing Credit Card 2 in a couple of weeks. That will be very nice indeed.

Fishing is good at the moment and had some fine catches which is very nice indeed.

Also been awarded my Laundry Blue Badge from MSE, I received over £200 back dated for my clothes and a few essentials for work.

Hope everybody is doing fine on the Debt busting, Christmas will soon be upon us!
