    Dear Diary

Been one of those weeks, up-down-up again. Should calm down over the next few weeks. We have to abide fishing quotas which can be a nightmare. Good possibility our quotas will be extended. More fish = more money for my good self. Should find out in the next few weeks.

Now, the coins I found and mentioned a few posts ago should give me some cash to pay down some good debt figures. The coins will be going to a local museum. Incredible to think they have sat on the Solent and were Henry VIII's (28 June 1491 – 28 January 1547) money!

I would not have thought the silver coins would be fed into a machine in the Seaside Arcade back then as opposed to today, in the hope of winning a " kiss me quick hat" or a oversized lollipop!

I started my Debt Free Journey in Feb and how quick it has gone. Looking at my signature I hope to bust the 50 % mark in 4 weeks and then it is all downhill to Christmas. Our Fishing Season is better in the Autumn months so will pay a bigger slice of the debt off during that time.

Seen a few people " giving up" on here saying only 6 months to go and have no chance of being debt free by Christmas. As my Father once said, aim for an A and get a C, Aim for a C get nothing!. So keep aiming high friends and we will see how we do at Christmas.

Much love, the Captain on the South Coast

    Dear Diary

Trying to sort out calculations to update Signature but can not access the Bank site I need, so will do it next week.

Been a busy week down on the South Coast although the weather is still fine with the odd Shower.

Been hunting further afield with the debt internet pages. Some handy life stories. I just love the ones where people are 3-4 years debt free and see what they have accomplished.

With me, if you look a real monthly payments towards my debt, I am paying down £50 a day on average. I will have a great life on that when I clear it!

As I have said before I am looking to break the 50% barrier, partly with the help of some Coins I found in the Solent. The Big Signature Update will be on July the 18th, when I receive those monies from the Museum.

Hope you all are doing ok out there. Keep with it and keep going.
All the best, the Captain on the South Coast. :footie:

A couple of weeks until I can update my Signature and should see a good progress ;)

I keep telling me the Sacrifice Is Only Temporary in regards to doing without, this Summer!

The most important thing to remember is that it is ONLY TEMPORARY. By making a sacrifice now I am not condemning myself to that for the rest of my life. You just need to make up for all the overspending that has taken place in the past.

It is now getting easier living on a £5 a day for food and going without my drinking sessions. I am feeling proud of my progress.

    Fantastic Tennis today too! :T
