OS DAILY TUES 3rd JULY

Prynhawn Da (Good Afternoon)
Just a little update on my OS efforts!
I'm following the daily flylady thread and finding it soooo much easier that the website - babysteps are the ways to go. Also, I work funny hours sometimes and it's good that I know I can just jump right back in and it will all get done in time, if I miss a day or two.
Also, I'm having major declutter, a little at a time - listing lots of nice clothes on eBay - most of them don't fit me anymore
Hugs to those of you who need it, and hello to everyone -
Bye for now

Had a shot at putting the unit up on the wall, the drill is not strong enough to drill through the breeze blocks under the plasterboard, so I have a hole, but no unit up, will have to phone DD and see if she will lend me her drill.
Yesterday I had my car insurance renewal come through, so I went onto quidco and got a quote (from the same company but my original insurance was done through the bank) £40 less with a £60 cash back, which is showing this morning in my account, so I just have to wait now whilst they verify the account, and then I should see a nice £60 deposit in my bank account, a bit more to reduce the overdraft.
Feeling quiet tired, might have a bit of a zizz...........
The plate rack I ordered through ebay has not arrived, so I have asked for my money back through pay pal...........its more than a month since I ordered the rack, I am very disappointed.............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

Hi Everyone
Will be busy later but just wanted to give a bit or moral support.
I am sorry, haven't time to mention anyone too specifically but I do know some of you have real worries about health - results etc and that fall and grazing had me cringing. Children problems seem to be quite to the fore too. I do hope things get resolved - a parent always worries (bigs things and trivial things) and unfortunately (or more importantly!) it is for life. It's just the goalposts change. Hope school issues, hormones and illness resolve themselves before too long.
I know that more than one of you is dealing with saying good-bye to loved ones today. Love, thoughts and hugs are with you. If for whatever reason you can't be there in person you are celebrating their lives, living with fond memories, and you will start to move on. Not easy over the next wee while - but we do all get there.
Love to you all.

Hey Everyone,
I`ve not posted on here before, Ive been laying on the sofa all day because yesterday i was made redundant and i have a horrible cold which i think is turning into a chest infection so i wanted a day to recover. Mse boards have been keeping me awake and amused for most of the day, so thank you to all you guys. Now i know this thread exsists i`m going to try and post on here everyday and get my life back on track. I need to get healthy again, sort out my flat, get a job and find myself again.
kind regards

Welcome Fishcake_Random:wave:
Had a busy day today in the garden, but thunder, lightening and hail have driven me in:eek: Managed to cut down loads of neighbour's tree that overhangs my garden, denying my poor plants light and rain. (My goodness, they're getting plenty of rain now:rotfl: ) What I'd love to know is why do people plant a tree that will grow 20 feet high, two feet from the fence? Do they not realise that half the canopy will be swamping the neighbour's garden?
If I wanted a big tree I'd plant one. Anyway it's had a severe *haircut* and we now have 4 bin bags of prunings to take to the recycling centre. It's not as rotten as it sounds. As it's the neighbour at the bottom of the garden, *face on* you can't really tell it's now only 2/3 of a tree:D
Hope you've got better news JackieO, been thinking of you today.
Got to go, apparently we're in need of milk. Obviously I'm the only one capable of getting any:rotfl:
Bye, CMYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

Evening all,
Haven't read the thread yet, will do so in a minute. Just got an email from Tesco about property!! Crikey, what won't they think of next!!!
Am feeling a bit teary today as this time last year I was oh-so-excited about moving into 'my own' place in Plymouth - what a year that turned out to be! Hey ho. PMS and having a rubbish day at work is probably something to do with that as well
Anyway, I would really like to go and do a big shop today
Oh, knakers, just remembered I had a nurses appointment at 10 this morning. Eek. I'll get shouted at next time.
Have to bake a cake tonight as well, so need to get some bits for that. Doing marble cake with fudge icing and silver dragees.
Hope you all had a good dayWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0
