Good morning to you all.
have been up since 4am but awake since 3am !
my dd is having a few problems at school and come home yet again in floods of tears this evening, she isnt being bullied but she is unhappy at school, she will be transfering to upper school into year 9 soon and i think this is worring her a lot even though she says it isnt. she got hurt at school about 6 weeks ago and ending up underneath a pile of kids, as a result she had to go and stay in hospital overnight as she was bleeding internally from her kidneys, since then she seems to get into a panic when she is in a crowd of people and freezes, the school moved her out of her class and into her friends class yesterday for the rest of the week, i dont understand why, she has been now worring about being in a new class ! im going to ring the school to see them today, as this is getting out of control. so i have been awake thinking about it, im having tears in the morning too.
sorry didnt get to read any of yesterdays postings, hope you are all well.
i picked a baby plum tomato and 3 beans !!!!!!!!!!!
pizza ,wedges and salad for dinner tonight and fresh fruit salad
well im going to do a bit of ironing, im at work from 8-10.30am

Morning Amie and all who follow/cross
Day2 of retirement and second (as I type on here!) How do you change your internal clock??
Nice and sunny here this morning, thankfully for the Bentley/Toll Bar residents some still under water 7 days on, and I'm only 5 miles away:eek:  must be heartbreaking.
((((hugs)))) Amie and anyone else who'd like/needs one. I think we'd all rather be hurt ourselves than watch our kids hurting, you feel so helpless. She possibly got upset at school so they thought they were being kind by putting her with her friend.
First day of retirement went by first of all having to get two doctors appointments one for me, and one for DH, Just as I thought my left leg was getting back to almost normality I somehow strained the left foot last Monday, it was as I was negotiating the water, anyway still hurting, swollen, and outer side of it with like permanent slight pins and needles as if a bit numb, but I could still feel it, with a large bruise underneath, and very uncomfortable to walk. Thought I had better check it out and she agreed a strain, but wanted to check in case it was broken (No not again!) so had to go and get an x-ray. Initial viewing says no break, phewwwww! DH's shoulder burnt when candle caught his shirt on Friday night, thought we had also better get that checked out, again "thinks" its OK, gave us some better cream, and he has to go back to the district nurse on Thursday to have it checked out. We then went to see my Dad (with dementia), on Sunday he had had a couple of small fits, not had them before, had him checked out at A&E they thought it was his water tablets so, he is off those until he sees the GP on Thursday. Gave him his lunch, managed to get a smile out of him, then he went to sleep as per normal.
Today is discussion with Financial Advisor:eek: carry on the sort, scan file task, bored to say the least! Much prefer some of the other tasks awaiting me.
I have been reading you all, but by the time I get to the end I've run out of time to post so getting in early.
Take care

Know exactly what your mean Susie, as soon as wear no socks/tights I have the same problem, have you tried that Australian foot cream, it is very good, but really gooey(sp) so end up wearing cotton socks to bed when I coat them. Boots also have some new products in for the problem, but it is agony walking with the tiniest of a crack in your heels! Usually end up with cream on heels, socks and trainers to walk without pain!!

Morning everyone,
Amie ((((hugs)))) for you and DD. It sounds like it has really effected her what happened at school a few weeks ago. I can imagine how worried you must be. Do they have a counsellor at the school for you & her to talk to?
Donny-gal Glad that your foot isn't broken. Must be very sore though.
Kyle Lavender oil is very good for cracked heels.
I thought you would have known that.
Well I'm tired atm. Woke up at 2am and just couldn't get back to sleep. So am feeling it now. Will make a strong coffee in a min. It's 3pm now. Been cleaning more windows & screens. Also scrubbed down the front verandah & steps. The joys of having red soil. Roll on grass to grow.
Hope you all have a great day. Beautiful weather today. I took Benny for a walk this morning and the water was crystal blue.
I was gazing out and there were about 5 dolphins swimming. One was a little un. I love it when I see the dolphins. Makes you feel so happy inside. Byeeeeeeeeeee Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Good morning everyone,
Hopefully its the 3rd July today, or im a day ahead of everyone else!!!!
Not too busy for me today - 2 LOs and one of those is at nursery this morning. Do need to go to Waitrose and pick up DSs footie magazine, plus some milk and salady stuff, but i have a £10 gift voucher (thank you pigsback) so hopefully wont spend anymore than that.
Did loads of baking yesterday, so our stores are nicely stocked up - after so many mentioned cheese straws ove the weekend i also made some, they were lovely and DD liked them too (amazing, she hates most things) so will be making those again.
Need to send my friend in Oz an email (ben meaning to for days now) and im sure there is something else i need to do, but this time of the morning, i cant think, but hopefully it will come to me later!!! Do need to clean the front room, but i dont think it was that!!
Ok, off for my cuppa, ((HUGS)) to anyone who would like/or needs one,
Have a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning.
Wet again, I forget what the sun looks like. I think when it does come out, I will crawl under a rock and hide...
Managed to get the green house sorted out yesterday and plant a few things into grow bags that had been in pots for weeks on end. Still can't tackle the weeds in the veggie plot, far too wet. Have no idea what to do today on my last day off before a 7 day working week.
getting bored......NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
Hi All
Taking car in for MOT today, I know it will fail, I just need to find out how much it will cost to sort it. My DS2 will do it as cheap as poss, but I may still decide to get rid of it.
Hugs to all

morning all
Had a mix up with the dates and bil is coming a day earlier than I thought - luckily smeone pointed out my error or he would have caught me running around making things nice/habitable instead of all relaxed with a hot meal waiting and me lounging about looking like the queen of domesticity. The spare room is done - dd came over last night to help - it looks so nice that after this i am moving in and decorating my room.
Back to w*rk today after long weekend
N9eav - wet here too which doesn't bode well for my Can I Do Without a Washing Machine Challenge - still no sign of the argos vouchers for replacement or the emergency spinner i bought on ebay and I have a blister between thumb and finger from wet wringing
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Morning All
(((hugs))) for Amie and your DD.
Miserable weather here again today. More washing to be draped over the house. Really hope the paper yesterday was wrong when they said there is no end in sight for the rain. Its really getting me down, dont see how we wil be able to get through the 6 weeks holiday with this weather!
Today is my main office day. Need also to do more laundry tidy up and hoover. Ironing necessary later also. Need to get an early night in - keep planning one but it doesnt happen.
Think we have curry for tea tonight though will have to check menu planner.
Have a great day.0
