Be wary. They owe me £192 and have sent me emails saying they are going to credit my account but so far I am still waiting. I left them in March 2015.0

Somewhere between thread no 1183 and the next was a statement from Ben Jones, MD of Extra Energy, describing the problems they are having and what they are trying to do about it - Well its gone!
It was before "catslovelycats" reply on 24th June. I wonder why they have taken it off the website....
Looks like he has gone underground again, especially as he said
"I absolutely welcome feedback from customers because it makes us better. It helps us improve and makes sure we learn from the mistakes we make, so that we don’t repeat them. If you need to elevate an issue to me, please feel free to do so".Holding back the years...0 -

Company rep posting from a personal account without permission, unfortunately not a conspiracy theory

Logged into my account today and there was an online message requesting my readings in preparation of my bill. Received an email about 1 hr ago advising the bill was ready for viewing.
If only EE could have been that good.0 -

Looooo0l stop it, please send me a PM of who your with now, I was thinking of joining GB but they are sounding like another EE hahahahah
Its very tiring sending emails, make calls & nobody at EE gets back to you & if they do its a month later, I'm at the stage I think I know more about my bill then EE does, DONT JOIN THEM STAY AWAY . . . . . . .0 -
I can't remember who Mabel went with but my guess would be E.On producing bills that quick. I remember when I was with them as soon as I had entered the meter reads the account balance changed. I would have no problem going back to them but their cheapest tariff is 25% more than I am currently paying !0

E.ON it is and for me are a lot cheaper than N Power and EE.
I have a qtly dd set up so only pay for the energy I use. However I make interim payments via my cash back credit card and usually find when the qtly bill is produced I am slightly in credit. E.on always refund any credit back to my bank account.
Very pleased with them. However not sure if I would be so pleased if I had a monthly dd set up. For me just too much hassle.0 -
I've gone back to EDF, they email me my bill 24-48 hours after the meter readings AND they are now cheaper for me than EE. Its a win win and I've now left off the headache pills :jHolding back the years...0

In exactly the same position. Moved completed on 25th. In £500 credit with EE. Don't forget to stop your DD.0 -
I also went back to Eon in December I was saving £8 a month against what EE were charging and after my last quarterly reading that has gone down from £70.50 to £51 a month.
I know that I will get a bill within a few hours of entering my meter readings.
I was with EE from April 2014 to December 2014 and didn't get my first (and only bill till mid April 2015) I had cancelled my DD after my October payment when I got the bill I just paid the £14.45 I owed as EE had agreed to waive the cancellation charges. My first DD for Eon didn't get taken till late January 2015 so I just made a online payment to them equivalent to the 2 DD's I would have paid EE for November and December.0
