For goodness sake you only have a 1000 customers. If N Power rep can deal with specific cases surely you can. :rotfl:

    Only 1000!

Try 10,000 but either way only a small proportion of those customers ever find their way onto this forum and yes dealing with a few of the more difficult issues shouldn't be too difficult.

I still think I have a date difference between my switch from EDF to EE for gas that may rear its head later. Today I have received a letter from EDF saying that the meter reading EE has provided them with doesn't appear to be in line with my previous energy usage. They have both had the readings entered online and EE even phoned up for them. The process may take 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Hell , this isn't rocket science.

My switchover was on 1st May and 1st DD set for 2nd June.
Still waiting for a refund on balance from Npower as I gave them readings on switchover day.
Has anybody got their first bill from Extra Energy yet and was ok. ?

well i think that EDF have completely fluffed my switch! i've got an online message advising that i'm overdue on gas by some amount that i've never been billed for. they can't advise why or what this amount is, 'gas transfer delayed' has been mentioned, with no further explanation. useless!

EDF advise still no reads passed from extraenergy so i'll chase them up later today.

My electric switch went ok on 28th April but a lack of info from EE, my gas went over to another supplier on 10th, EDF final bill issued 14th with correct reads (using some weird calculations for the "carried over tariff" but in my favour) and the grand sum of £1.11 deposited in my bank account today.
  • Hi
I got an email a few days ago stating that my first payment would be on the 2nd June but have checked my bank account and payment was taken on the 2nd May so check your bank account.

final bill from EDF today, it's wrong on the gas by date of switch & reading, no surprise! i wasn't going to bother querying it as it's only about £5 over charged, but then thought, no, that's £5 that isn't due.

however, it's a good job i have queried it with EDF as it would appear that my gas account has gone a little haywire, this isn't actually the final bill for gas & their system shows that the gas contract ended in 2011. all very confusing & they now need to look & see what's happened...

Just received final bill from EDF. I only gave the readings to EE so they have been passed over correctly and the bill is right. Seems I must be one of the lucky ones as no real problems here......yet.

Got my final gas bill from EDF the other day and I see the elec one is on their website with a bill dated today. This leaves me £80+ in credit , how long do EDF take to refund this? What I don't understand is that EDF kept me on the Blue+ tariff for the 8 days after it ended before the switch yet the kWh rate is less for that period than before on both gas and elec.
