Looks like their website is down and their Facebook page also seems to have disappeared?

Does this mean they are about to slip off the radar...

Dont do things like that, I nearly went bank and reversed todays Direct Debit lol.
Speculations huh, but to be honest I dont blame anyone in thinking the worst.
If I was to speculate, EE is fine for the time being. Just once customers start leaving in their droves and the bailiffs start taking away property due to non payment of taken monies from customers will EE start to have issues which could very well send them under.

I would also be fascinated to know how EE can file their accounts for September if they dont have a clue what bills/monies they have coming and going. Im no accountant like but surely my suspicions hold merit......

Electricity bill received today, 4½ months after joining; that's fine so far as it goes (it was correct, too!) but I had kindof thought that the gas & electricity bills would come together. Never mind.

Am I correct in thinking that the problems lies with having dual fuel with them. Reading back a few pages it seems that if you only have electric from them you get a bill. When I first joined them they got the gas meter reading wrong, and I have had a visit from a meter reader who only wanted to read the electric meter, he said there was not note about the gas. Also wasn't there was some evidence discovered that they only got a licence to supply electricity...?

After 9 posts to date re EE I thought I would update...

This was my last post...for those that have been following:
I Finished with EE on the 5th December 2014....(after never receiving a single Bill)

After Numerous phone calls & emails requesting Final Bill (& involving Ombundsman) I finally received a Final Bill on the 2nd March 2015 showing I was in credit by £279 , bottom of the bill said that all monies would be credited to my account by the 11th March.

No Money was paid into my account.

Like others I then had the £12 Government Rebate taken from my account.
Yet again I phoned them asking for the adjustment to be made & told them I wanted my money credited back to me immediately.
I was then told my account would be credited with the £12 & that my exit fee would be waivered & the £279 owed to me would be in my account by the 7th April.....

    Guess What ....STILL NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Contacted Senior Advisor of Complaints team went through whole story 7 weeks ago & still nothing except receiving this email

''Sorry again we don’t have your refund yet. As I said in my last email the final bill was produced with the exit fees. I have requested a new bill without exit fees and am still waiting for it. As soon as I have it in my hand I will call you.''

It is 6 months since I left them & have received 3 final bills (all wrong)....

    However.................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Breaking News!!!!!!!

I can confirm that this morning, I can breathe a huge sigh of relief finally knowing that I never have to speak with EE again. My refund has been paid into my account.

My serious advice to all those considering joining up with EE is to pay the extra & go with one of the big 6. This has been the biggest mistake I have made, causing much stress & wasted hours on the phone. I cannot believe that in this day & age they can get away with it.

Good Luck to all those still trying to resolve their problems.

Absolutely and totally agree with your advice, its just not worth the frustration, I have just switched back to EDF and I'm paying the same DD.

I've got a bill and it is almost correct. The e-mail stated "your first electricity statement" - nearly correct. The charges are spot on and used my read from 30th April. 2 bills now and each for a 6 month period. The balance on the bill is a bit of a mess though. It used the closing balance from the last bill which had the £12 credit so the bill balance is £12 more than the on screen balance. They have adjusted my DD £2 up on a bill coming out of winter in credit and having bills covering a complete 12 months. 18 mins listening to music on the phone and they are going to sort the DD and send a new bill in 72 hours. My diary has a reminder set for EOC -49 days.

I cannot understand why my Mum in law is still awaiting a bill and in a few weeks times her year with EE will be up.

For some reason my earlier post isn't showing. I've had an EE man come and read my meters this morning!

I joined them in May and had my first bill in December that covered the period to August and increased the DD to £71. I just had a second bill yesterday (strangely, as Molerat's, entitled my 'first statement') which covers the period from August to February. Happily the DD has now been decreased to £54 so I feel pleased about that.

I am baffled as to why the bills are never up to the current date. But at least I have had two lol

Just on this question it seems they did get a gas supply licence but a later date, in 2013 not very long before the changeover of directors and change of name.

The former directors seem to have been involved in other similar-looking companies: maybe Callisto was a kind of off-the-shelf energy company complete with licences, ready-made for someone else to take over.

EE Website seems to me experiencing issues again today!

Anyone else notice DD's haven't been taken?
