Hmmm. OK.
I bet one used Extra Energy against one used Sainsbury's Energy that, um . . .
NO.
PS: just as a matter of interest, what's the amount to be won here? Or does everyone have to wait until the EE billing department has done the math??? :eek:0 -
:iloveyou: (Fantastic work, I like it)
The next several days are going to be so thrilling I may even get the popcorn out.
Lets have a user vote!
Will EE respond prior to the deadline of the 16th
My answer is NO
Lol time will tell! I'm right there with you, don't think they respond!0 -

Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to swing way into credit with little hope if getting it back for months should I leave at some pointDam those energy saving measures...
Not had a bill yet so calculating manually so what are the chances in getting the DD reduced?
(A note, the below is sarcasm and not actually EE as they wouldnt respond anyway)
We at EE only say that you will get a bill 6 monthly. Please be realistic and accept that we at EE will bill you when we feel ready to do so. If you have an issue with this process then we will change the goal post to suit your needs, in that case we will bill yearly or even not at all. Please rest assured that you can always phone or email the team where we will not respond to any of your queries or complaints. If you are not happy with our service, you can always leave and we will charge you to do so, on top of that we at EE will also keep your hard earned monies from any closed balances so that we can ensure large bonuses are paid out to our employees.
Please rest assured we will take as much money as possible prior to you leaving EE while in credit.0 -

Highly competitive energy rates for homes and businesses - agreed
A friendly and approachable service - disagree
UK based customer contact centres - agree
Easy to understand bills and documents - what bills
Flexibility from a lean and efficient organisation - What does that mean?Holding back the years...0 -
Deadline is May 16th. If they still don't reply or pay up by then, I will ask the court to enter judgment
and then enforce it by sending bailiffs to collect the money
anyone else willing to put money on Tara's court documents currently sitting on someone's desk in the 'don't know what to do with' pile?
good luck, will be very interesting to see what happens...0 -

It's been seven months since we joined Extra Energy via the Cheap Energy Club. We pay monthly by direct debit. The FAQ section on their website states that customers paying by direct debit will get a bill every 6 months, we are yet to receive a bill. Their customer line is always busy and rather than being put in a queue, the line has just gone dead when I call, they don't answer online messages but not surprisingly, their sales line is answered straight away! I finally got to speak to a senior customer adviser and she was able to explain the situation. First bills are sent 6 months after EE first read your meter. This will probably not be 6 months from when you become a customer. We joined in Oct 2014 but they didn't read our meters until Nov 2014. I was told by the senior adviser and the payments adviser I spoke to that EE are behind on billing and struggling to keep up with customer contact. They are also struggling to keep staff which I guess is pretty standard in that industry. Joining EE was a gamble, knowing they were a new supplier and all that. I have not been impressed and will definitely look to swap again once the year is up.0

Join the long queue. Mum joined on the 6 June 2014 and no sign of a bill yet. However she's happy because she is about £600 debit.0 -

If EE have not yet produced a bill for your Mum, how did they justify an increase in DD in April from £101 to £130?A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
