Yet another WM load of Mr LW's clothes done on cheaper leccy overnight - I don't know how that man goes through so many clothes, when I don't seem to go through many at all. Anyways, he hung it all outside before he left for work - 3 prs jeans, 2 t-shirts and a net bag full of socks and underpants. About midday, I fetched it in - just before the first shower of the day.:T
I'm hoping Thursday will be fine; he's got that day off for Ostara (Spring Equinox) and the plan is for us to get something done about the wilderness we laughingly call a garden. He did cut the back lawn recently (makes it easier for poo-picking) but it wants doing again, and the front also wants doing; as for the front borders... um, yes, well, maybe the less said the better. Mess doesn't begin to describe them.
Anyways, the plan is, he'll do the grass, then I'll put on my oldest, tattiest splints, and we'll try to get a bit of order in the borders together.:o I'm too scared to be out the front on my own (even if I could lump the equipment needed out there myself) so it'll be a good opportunity.
Sunshine vibes gratefully received.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Thank you very much, mrs-mp. The size of the sandals is nowhere near as important as the style - plain brown leather (or lookalike) with a flat sole. Any child size up to a 13 would do - the sandals are for use as a visual aid in a course that I'm running, not for wearing!
I have done a bit of computer work this afternoon. Went to the tip earlier and called at a friend's on the way back to pick up some plants and came away with lots of little bits! It has rained a bit, but the sun is shining now and I hope to get out and do some weeding for an hour after we've eaten tea.
The house is still a mess but I can't clean until the carpenter has done. He'll be back tomorrow.0 -

Took Ozzy for a walk this morning, managed just over 2 miles (hoping to double that tomorrow). Got me and OH fed, cleaned out and lit fire, put away dw stuff, put on a wm load and td load. Then before I knew it, it was time to collect DS3, trip to butchers, collect DS1+DS2, drop parcel in at PO, collect stuff for dinner, home then homeworks followed by dinner.
Now to clear dinner stuff away, get dw on, put out damp clothes and put away clean clothes. Then i'll get DS3 to bed which I'm sure he'll argue about.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -

Wow you have all been busy - and I've done - not a lot - oops!
Made tea for gardeners and fed them flapjack, and fed myself flapjack:o - knew I shouldn't have made it!!!
Then delivered NWatch note to all houses in our road and popped to Mr A*di with DH as no potatoes for tomorrow's meal. We bought a few basics which should tide us over until at least weeekend.
Plan tomorrow is to finish weeding the front garden which is now looking lovely, trim the old lavender and do some inside jobs too - just basics though. It is supposed to be fine here tomorrow but was very mixed today so fingers crossed.
Catch up tomorrow. xxJuly 16 £95/£200

Daft question time:-
I always thought my cheap electricity rates was 7pm to 7am, however that is wrong and it is midnight to 7am. I am with e.on, they also tell me that I use 68% of my electricity between midnight and 7am, which I find odd as we are in bed, things are turned off, at the wall plugs, except the fridge / freezer and bedside alarm clock. I am sure I am being fobbed off...........
So when is your cheap rate and which compnay are you with?Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
