    Garden looks lovely Natty.

    Love the dungarees Pigpen!

If I was you Ionafan I'd get to the tip now - get it over and done with.

Right, off to paid stuff ....

I've managed to reply to some emails, empty the bins, wash up and find the kitchen table. Lunch made for me and DS2 who is finally feeling a bit better. Back to the paid stuff now for a bit.

  • I never got around to posting my list yesterday as it was busy with a combination of paid work, course work and putting up garden sheds. DH is going to make one of the sheds into an office for me, as I work from home a lot.

Although the move has been very stressful it is certainly been worthwhile the oldest two kids spent most of the weekend outside playing and we had Sunday dinner at the dining table for the first time rather than having a tv dinner, which is something that is going to happen for every meal.

Mondays are Marvellous!! - Kitchen and Dining Area
    Sweep and mop the floor
    S&S the hob & oven
    Declutter and wipe the worksurfaces

Does the garden need it's first, or even second, cut of the season

Twinkly Tuesday - Living room, hall, stairs and porch!
    Clear the mantle of junk
    Vacuum the stairs
    Wipe and water plants
    Binbag dance
    Wipe down front door
    Wipe down ALL the paintwork!
Dust all the electricals.. carefully.. don't want any frazzled flybodies
    Declutter ALL the floors!!
    HHI
Wipe clean your washing line/whirly gig
Turn over your vegetable plot/bedding areas
Make sure your flower pots/seed trays are nice and clean..
Do clients work that is in for today
    Study for chemistry exam

Nice - I love it when I can do that (not very often nowadays!). Bet you feel better for it.

Sorry, very intermittent on here - when did you move in? It is nice sitting up to the table and having a meal together as a family.

Here's my list (only from the basics remember - don't be too impressed):

Mondays are Marvellous!! - Kitchen and Dining Area
    S&S the oven

Declaring war on the oven - bought some Oven Pride yesterday and am going to attack the oven tonight.

Paid stuff done, going to get DS from school and start getting dinner sorted - pork and apricot casserole. Hope it tastes as nice as it sounds!

Hello ladies. I'm reporting in very late this week.

Kitchen was done yesterday (needs doing again today)

Today I have been ironing and folding and putting away.

I took DS1 to the 0rthodenti5t. Another appointment on 29th April. He will still be wearing braces in his 20's at this rate. DH was on the train back from C@rdiff so he jumped off a stop before the airport and met us in the town car park.

Both schools are open here. It's especially important for DS2 who is taking GC5E's this year. He's doing mocks at the moment and is trying my patience with the revision v football arguments.

Forgot to mention the downstairs loo had a very thorough clean, and all the cupboards washed and buffed so I could see my face in it. So I will be crossing that off when I see it on the list.

yes, CAL has been slinging waste food over my fence and that of the nice NDN thereby deliberately creating a rat problem again :mad::mad: I actually saw one about 12ft from the house running through NDN fence, but on the upside NDN forceful letters from a few months ago about flooding our land has resulted in her clearing her drains and put in some concrete slabbing to hold back abnormal flood water from pouring through our respective gardens.....hence why although the garden has been boggy this winter, it hasn't been a drowning hazard (and I am being 100% serious about this) for DS and DD4.

Nice NDN has written a letter to CAL yesterday demanding that she ( and any volunteers press ganged into feeding said animals) put an end to her current animal feeding practices to ensure that waste food is not left to attract rats on her land or
a visit from Environmental Health......so I am expecting a dramatic improvement on that front some time soon!

I have managed to kill my food processor today.....it might be a fuse, but I haven't got any spares in the house to be sure, so I will add that to my to do list.
The cold never bothered me anyway
