Fizz, I now understand, never knew you lived in a block of flats, in that case, can you ask the window cleaners to be more careful / clean all of the windows correctly, can you 'inform' / 'lodge a complaint' about them with the flat management company / who ever pays them?
Ironing is done and away
Mountsockmore is sorted
Duvet I have taken to laundrette and washed / dry, £8 in total so happy with that.
Been to the tip.
Hoovered car out.
I have left to do, till I find more
Paint 3 fence panels
Buy moss killer and put it on the lawn
Sort out green house.
I am lacking any energy to paint the fence, as I think it is cold out there.
Might go and buy the moss killer

Morning all (just) Thank you for the thread Natty.
Ionafan, my girls bedroom is looking better but I still can't find that shoe. Really sorry (will keep a look out though) It did give me the kick I needed to start it though as Ive been putting it off for weeks.
We had a busy day of shopping yesterday as DH is on night's this week. Then needed to take all 5 kiddies for haircuts (that was fun!).
Have got the kiddies to school this morning and that's as far as I got. I need to make a start. My list still has every item on it, oops. We are all at the dentist this afternoon so I really must make a start...

Hi Vanilla  Good to see you posting again. Was that the 'pee-ed on' duvet Kazwookie? So far I've managed three pillows and one duvet but it's just not hot enough yet to dry things quickly enough. The dehumidifier extracted 2.3 litres of water in about 27 hours at the chalet. Good thing it's a 10 litre capacity model.
Unbeknown to me, I had joined you Mrs MoneyPenny. The shower in the shower room has been scrubbed - it took an hour, but every millimetre of grout has been zazzed back to looking new. And bits of grunge have been extracted. I didn't know shower grunge could be that revolting. *retch*Better is good enough.0 -

House was in serious CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome) yesterday, not good when nice NDN were coming over to update me on Crazy Animal Lady's latest antics.
DS and DD4 managed to nap simultaneously, while DD3 and I whizzed around like maniacs to make house presentable, allowing me enough time for a "shower in a can" before the doorbell went :rotfl:
But today I am wrecked. Been to collect annaul Glucose Tolerance Test from Dr, and picked up DS scrip while I was there. Need to go and pick my scrip from my pharmacy later, but in serious need of motivation.
Time to catch up with Fred, sorry if I have missed important news flyfolk, have been living on another planet recentlyThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

I got told off by a neighbour for calling them flats, apparently they're apartments, talk about delusions of grandeur. A house would have been nice but we have enough space for the seven of us in here, NO garden to maintain as that's taken care of by the management firm which is a real billy bonus for me and my black thumb, plus a similar sized house would've been an extra £130k-ish, which neither DH nor I could afford after two expensive divorces. Whatever you choose to call it, and it'll always be a flat to me, I love living here
I did have a word with the window cleaner once, he stropped more than my DD does when she's asked to clean her room! If it continues I may well get in touch with the management people.
It's showery here today and much colder, I'm missing the sun already. Paid stuff decluttered, I need to shower and write my shopping list, Sainsbobs gave me a coupon for £6 in nectar card points if I spend £60 so they're getting my hard earned today. Trying to think of different meals is doing my head in, I'm getting fed up of eating the same old dinners every week.
Does anyone know if the threatened industrial action by teachers next Wednesday is still potentially on the cards?0 -

Not to worry, charlie - but glad I unknowingly helped you.skint_breeder_5 wrote: »House was in serious CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome) yesterday, not good when nice NDN were coming over to update me on Crazy Animal Lady's latest antics.

Skinty, I love your CHAOS acronym. How is CAL? Give yourself a break now and *eat* something, please.
My house didn't look too bad until the carpenter started work - now almost every room has something out of place, temporarily stored in it or waiting to be hung/screwed/nailed as appropriate
Must go to the tip - trying to decide whether to go now or after lunch? DH is in a funny mood because he has put on weight this week. He needs to have a serious talk to himself. I am pleased that yesterday's choccy digestive did not cause me any such problemsNo doubt I shall get my come-uppance later...
