He's a 6 month old Miniature Schnauzer - wish me luck!:D
It's not happening anytime soon but a girl can dream. Nice NDN has her cousin's elderly mixed/lab on loan for 6 months and I keep trying to borrow her. Hoping you have a lovely weekend with Spencer, LW.

Evening,
A much welcome peaceful evening here. Well, not quiet as such, but conflict -free. Just getting them off to bed and told DS I had lots of smiles to draw on his chart, he replied "I forgot how to be good but I've remembered now!" :rotfl: little s0d
I will put the garage back to rights (had to climb in boiler cupboard again for fuseboard - 3rd time in about a month - the upstairs lights had gone off) tonight then I think that's it for me.
DD and I played upstairs this afternoon and had a wee tidy so her dolls are all rehomed rather than strewn in a pile and she sorted her "jewellery box" then sprayed Disney perfume on everything
Have kept on top of kitchen too, today.
Want to do something with my nails too. They a are a state...
Enjoy the weekend, everyone XBossymoo

Hello everyone, have been missing in action this week. No flying done except for hoovering through once and keeping the washing and washing up done.
I haven't even been lurking so I hope everyone is ok. Hugs where needed.
So what have I done this week:
Some paid stuff
Shopping
Gardening
Tomorrow we have a family event and I am very excited. I love the opportunity to dress up and spend time with DH, DD and DS all at once (and their partners too of course).
Have a great weekend everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Evening all.
House is clean top to bottom except for mirrors/windows downstairs and the brass but thats because I've run out of cleaning cloths :rotfl::rotfl: Unfortunately cleaning so well means the spiders are coming out of hiding, and I've evicted 2 so far since 7pm!
Just about to do the grocery shop properly online, finish this load of laundry off then I'm going to bed as I'm shattered! Tomorrow I'm going to finish the last of the laundry (3 loads including the cleaning cloths) and the last couple of cleaning jobs then I'm going to sit and read "To kill a mockingbird" which DD is reading in English. Maybe then I might understand what she's going on aboutReally pleased with how much I've managed to get done today.
Off to book that grocery shop (had my slot reserved all day :rotfl:).
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Evening everyone
Yet again I'm dipping back in from Monday :]
DH has finally, finally been sorted by the hospital, we eventually had to start a complaint procedure, he had a major operation at the beginning of this month and today was given the all clear at the 1st part of the results :], next set on April 15th, if they are clear he can go back to work, I can't even begin to tell you how hard its been here, we are so down and out at the moment, although the news is good its all taken its toll and we are struggling financially and just with life in general, DH has a way to go to get back to full fitness but needs to do it asap so he can get back to work, I've not been able to work as there has been no-one to help with childcare and DH has needed so much support mentally and physically whilst he has been poorly and I'm the only one thats been around to give it. However, we are starting the upwards crawl up what seems like a mountain but we will do it and getting back into some sort of routine will help, I've started sewing things to sell at craft fairs and have my first one next month :] The house has fallen by the wayside so thats the next priority along with DH's fitness so inbetween housework this coming week its going to be all about walking - trust the weather to change now lol
Anyway - dipping back in, starting again, trying to get back into a routine again
:]Projects made for craft fair - 40
1st fair on 13/4/14 :j0 -

Helen, it's really good to have you back with us and to know that your DH is on the mend. You've got your priorities right - the housework can wait! Best wishes to you both xx0 -
That's such great news Helen Jelly, lovely to have you back and so pleased you've eventually got the hospital to do something X

Hi all
Lovely to hear from you Helen, sounds like things have been really tough but maybe you are about to turn a corner. My OH has been off for a week after dropping some masonry on his foot so he has lost a weeks wages. Its only when things like that happen that you realise how easily everything can go pear shaped. Let us know how things are going - hugs.
Hope you have a lovely day Jazee, and I hope the sun shines. Same to Bossy, enjoy your time off.
So, after nagging for about 3 months I have finally got OH to put me some shelves up in our little office. I can now start the massive declutter of bits of paper. Need to get some more lever arch files so will have a trip into our local town (where they will probably cost a fortune). OH is going to do some work outside and will probably need some help so its going to be busy.0
