    Afternoon Flyladies

Welcome back Helen, it sounds as though you have been through the wringer in recent months, I really hope your DH is back to full fitness soon and you can both start putting the trauma behind you.

Not much to report here, WM has had a good work out and the airers are groaning under the weight of it all. We've been out all afternoon, shopping for DD's birthday presents (amongst other things :o) and I've already been to confess my sins over on the "No buying unnecessary toiletries" thread. I need to make curry for dinner (three varieties to account for all the picky boogers, natch) and I'm struggling to muster the enthusiasm.

ETA: DSD had just appeared wearing a pair of ridiculous nerd glasses, they're the ones with "blank" lenses as her eyesight is fine. She looks hysterical, I had to try hard not to laugh in front of her :rotfl: Oooh, that's cheered me up :D

i sort of confessed mine as well fizz, but they werent as bad as they could have been, 2 of the things in lush were for DD2s birthday pressies and i only got the bath bomb (inhale exhale) cos some one on the toiletries thread was saying how good that one was, also got a massage bar as we were out of those.
luckily there isnt a confess your sewing purchases thread as i got loads of those - dress fabric, linings interfacing and zips. looked at wool but resisted

    Hi all

Have had quite a nice day. Helped OH in the garden, took doggie for a long walk and generally pottered about. Have decluttered all the dog hairs off the various carpets, done quite a bit of laundry, sorted some paperwork and made lasagne for tea.

Very tired now. In fact I could just go to sleep but thats probably a bad idea so I will put the washing away and then see whats on telly, or maybe read my book for a while.

It does honestly make me think twice, having to post and 'fess up, I would've bought all that and more without thinking in the past so I can only thank you for pointing me towards the thread :) xx

That'll be the five white linen tableclothes (8' x 5') I found in the YMCA shop the other day .... Like I need more sewing carp in the attic while I'm promising myself to finish all the projects I've started - which didn't need white linen.

Proper freezer tetris has occured here - the fish is in the fish drawer, the meat in the meat drawer, the dog's fud is in the Misc drawer and the fruit and veg is in the F&V drawer. At last. For some reason that tiny achievement has taken a month to get a roundtuit, and only took five minutes of application.
    Better is good enough.
